Excalibur

Magnus stood up after half an hour later. Without saying anything he put up the fire and picked up Shen on his back. Clem look towards Magnus hoping to look for an answer.

"We are going to leave here? We are okay If you want to come with us." Magnus looked at Clem before starting walking.

"Where you guys will be going? This place is quite safe so why not stay tge night here." Clem tried to pursue them a little, but Magnus replied, "We don't know what's lurking out there. Staying one place with an injuried person is definitely risky."

"Okay. Fine I am coming too." Clem give up. She also thinks that it's best not to stay one place for quite a long time.

"Wise choice!" Saying that Magnus jumped down from the mountain. Clem also followed Magnus as she jumped down.

"Hey we will be moving very fast so try to keep up." Saying that Magnus started jumping one mountain cliff to another like a monkey and started running very fast.

Despite having a higher cultivation level she is shocked to know that Magnus is so much faster even while carrying another person on his back.

1 hour later a large beast descended into the mountain peak. With a sharp sense he looks around but only to find some burning wood.

"Dammit! Do you know how precious this was. You left it here like this. Dammit! If I find you I will skin you alive and let you rot in sun for 3 days. Dammit!" The beast shouted as cursed Magnus inside it's head.

Then he bend down his head and picked up a blood rad colour peach fruit from the ground where the fire was.

"Thank goodness. It's still fresh. And even the condition is not bad. But still why did that kid leave it here?" The 15 meter tall wolf like hound dog stood there a for a few minutes pondering. It's a very unusual for someone who stole the fruit to actually return it without any regards. It's as if this kid knew that he was coming so he decided to leave it here so he can find it.

The more he thought the more serious he became. A beast like him who actually became a rank 5 beast is pretty intelligent then normal human. So Magnus's behaviour did caught his eyes but he can't put things together even if he did caught it. Because Magnus is different.

"Damn, that beast actually fell for it!" Magnus laughed inside as he noticed that the beasts stopped pursuing them. It was Magnus who left the fruit there. Although the fruit is amazing Magnus doesn't need it. Things like this is meaningless to him who walks a different path then everyone.

Considering his situation with Shen Magnus don't want to waste time with that beasts. Magnus already tapped on to the head of Chris and his man and he knew that the beast is hunting people. At that time he really didn't care about the information.

"It looks like it really wanted that fruit. But I hope you can bare the consequences of taking that fruit."

After passing the mountain range Magnus and Clementine reached the other side from the initial starting point.

The other side of the secret plane consists of a large sea. Magnus and Clementine run for a while until they finally found a small port. There are not boats or ship in there but there are certainly a whole bunch of people.

When Magnus and Clementine arrived every single one of them looks at them with hungry eyes. These guys are already soaked their hands with a lot of blood so the moment they noticed them their eyes shine with blood red light.

"New lambs arrived, entertain us brother." A boy from behind the crowd spoke with a malicious intent. Soon all the people started laughing and approaching towards them.

Magnus and Clementine stopped for a second before looking towards them. All their power is low and Magnus doesn't even need to much efforts to actually kill them but he chosed not to do anything this time.

An Ice Heart Sect disciple is not a joke. And she's someone under the care of an elder. Magnus wanted to judge her character so he decided not to fight. Maybe Clementine also noticed Magnus's intention so she silently followed what Magnus wanted.

Without any conversation two figure already reached a conclusion. In the next moment Clementine make her move. The moment she moved her entire body enveloped with a white icy cold armour. In her hand shine a long white sword.

"Ice Blade Technique: Frost Foot"

Her body disappeared. The next time she appears she already traversed between everyone and reached behind that boy who looks like their leader. She raised her sword and swing towards his neck.

"Don't you think I am weak." The boy noticed her and wanted to defend himself with his sword but Clementine's sword is to powerful. A grade 3 sword to be exact.

A grade 3 sword is much more powerful than any normal sword. To be more precise Ryder had a halberd that is grade 3 too. And with that weapon Magnus managed to slay two rank 4 beast in the past.

The sword that the boy put out didn't even make it to grade 2 sword so of course it couldn't stop the incoming attack. The moment two weapons make contact a clang sound echoes in everyone's ear. The next thing they saw is the head of that boy flying away and dropping in the water.

A clean cut. The crowd of people stopped their breath with fear and shock. They never thought that their boss will die like that. But everything happened too quickly and now they don't know what to do. But before they could even make a choice all their body stopped moving. They have been paralysed by something.

"Don't try to move. Just die slowly." When they heard that voice they realised that they're doomed. The next second they all dropped down simultaneously.

"It's the same poison you give me last night. I thought it's a limited edition thing."

"Well, I don't like using it to much but it's still helpful sometimes."

Magnus didn't pursue the matter anymore instead he went down and check the body of the boy. As Magnus predicted, In side his ring there's actually a small boat. These guys are really waiting here for someone to show up looking for a boat. But alas it was them who turned up.

He put down Shen on the middle of the boat while he sat down on one edge. Clementine sat down in front of him in the other side.

So Magnus starts to operate the boat. The boat is a simple small boat with the additional features where it can glide on the water with the use of Qi.

The destination is known. They both know that right now they need to move forward and survive. "Where do you think your master is currently at? Outside or inside?" Magnus asked Clementine who was looking a little absent-minded.

"Inside."

"Why? How are you so sure? If she's alive I don't think she'll be here maybe she's in the sect dungeon or something."

"She's inside here because I can sense her Qi here. The ice heart sect has this pretty little communication device that can also show the status of a nearby friend. When she first went missing I didn't know where she was but last night the device glow a few time indicating that she's here."

"But it's stopped glowing." Magnus asked her.

She's already quite afraid of what happened to her master. So she doesn't want to pursue on that particular part a bit farther. So she replied angrily, "Look all I know that she's alive."

"Fine, fine. I am sorry." Just as he replied he saw Clementine quickly took out a communication device from her ring. The device is glowing with golden colour.

"My master is alive. She's close..." Clementine jumped with joy as she spoke. Magnus looked at her enthusiasm with a cheerful expression.

"She might be close. Neil please can you help me find my master." Clementine this time bowes down and asked for Magnus's help.

"I will....but I need compensation." Magnus is not a friendly simp who would give in just cause a girl asked him. So he wanted a serious compensation for this.

"What do you want?" She asked. For a second she actually thought that Magnus would accept but it turns out not. He really is in the end another boring person. I mean how could he even thought to ask for compensation to a beautiful girl.

"I need that sword."

"Are you serious? Lily is given to me by my master. I can't give it to you." She doesn't want to give her sword. It was a gift from her master when she turned 15. That's the adult age on this world so she really adores the sword. She even gave a name to it.

"What good it does when you can't even save your master. Your master can give you a new sword anytime but you will never get your master back if something happens to her. So make your choice, the sword or your master."

Magnus created a urgency in order to oush her to make a decision.

"But I treated the wound of your friend and gave you the poison." Clementine included that to save her sword. But Magnus didn't move.

"And that's why I didn't asked anything else aside from that sword. Clearly you have more precious things inside your ring, but since you helped me I decided not to. So now you need to respect my wishes too."

Although he could've asked for the armour he thought that the sword would be much better and that armour is probably built for a girl. And the other stuff may probably has some breakthrough pills releted item. Typical sect disciple usually has these things as there treasures but for Magnus only the sword is important. Currently his arsenal only has one grade 3 weapon, 4 grade 2 and rest are all grade 1. He needs to upgrade is gear.

Clementine wanted to pursue more but Magnus again reminds her, "your master's life or the sword."

Finally she gave up and hands down the Sword. Magnus took the sword in his hand. The ice cold aura entered his body through his palm.

"Goodbye Lily." Clementine made a small cry sound as she looks at the sword in Magnus's hand.

"You call him Lily. That's why this guy is so angry. If you gave a girl name to a man of course he will be angry."

"Don't tell me." Clementine raised her eyebrows. "Please don't rename her."

Magnus ignored her and stood up from his sit. He brandish the sword and hold it high up.

"From now on you will be Excalibur."

"Kuuu" Clementine only pout in sadness as she lost her sword completely.
