Yang Kai

We were finally back. Xia Ning Chang choose to go into seclusion to break through and Liu Zheng informed treasurer Meng about the attack on their way. He was furious and Liu Zheng handed him the artifact to let him deal with the perpetrators and asked him to return it after everything is done.

Liu Zheng went to see the sect master and saw him siting on a chair drinking tea. He offered him to sit together with him get himself a cup of tea from the table which he obliged to. He was pleased to know that sect master has reached the Above Immortal Ascension realm(Transcendent realm).

Liu Zheng told him about his adventures and talked about a lot of stuff. He also informed the sect master that he was attacked by the disciples of the high heaven pavilion and they were said to have been promised resources to kill him. Liu zheng handed him their tokens and also told him the artifact which he gave to treasurer meng. He recognised the artifact description which was one of the sect owned artifact given to the great elder and promised to take action against him.

But instead Liu Zheng said that the elder was innocent and it was the elder's disciple Xie hongchen who is the real culprit and have enmity with him. Sect master understood the whole matter and reassured me that such a cowardly incident won't happen in his sect again and decided to take more part in the matters of sect time to time.

He offered him a reward again for his help in curing the injuries which has bugged him for years but Liu Zheng simply asked the sect master to train him a bit through sparring for two weeks since he felt that he had grown too quickly and needs to take full control over his strength and have much more solid foundation.

Sect master agreed and a couple of hours everyday for two weeks he trained him. Liu Zheng went all out against him knowing his secrets would be safe with him and it was a very beneficial experience and he now had full control over all his techniques and a much more solid foundation.

Since there was no other sect involved, the dragon-phoenix inheritance stayed hidden be Meng Wu Ya didn't go to the nearby gang and mistakenly break the seal like in the original instead he beat the shit out of Xie hongchen and crippled him which i regret not doing it myself and gave a stern warning to the great elder to not let anything like this happen again and sect master didn't stop him since Xie Hongchen was at fault but didn't let him do the same to great elder or it would have been embarrassing to the sect which treasurer meng agreed to in the end.

In the meanwhile Liu Zheng even visited Su Yan once and gifted her a few drops of the Nine Yin due to temper her true qi as a token of apology for previous incident which she refused at first because of precious it was but he forced it upon her in the end though she promised to return the favour one day. It wasn't bad to owe a small favour to a beautiful lady though he didn't want it at the first place.

Further training with zangetsu helped him learn Cero Cornea( cero from eye) and old man mostly focused on Qi control which improved to another level from an already amazing level. He pointed out that Liu Zheng's Qi control is at a level where only seasoned Transcendent realms can compete also Qi/spiritual energy control is very important in everything related to arrays especially alchemy and artifact refining.

Liu Zheng had reached 9th stage Qi Transformation and was ready to go on an adventure.

But before that there was one thing that wasn't sorted out yet - Yang Kai.

So he went to his hut early in the morning where he found Yang Kai cleaning the surrounding.

Yang kai was stunned to see that why such a strong and infamous Inner Disciple was approaching him so early in the morning. He started wondering if he did something to offend Liu Zheng but nothing came to mind so he decided to just welcome him properly.

"I, Trial disciple Yang Kai, greets Senior Brother Liu Zheng."

Liu Zheng reciprocated his greeting in the same way and went straight to the point.

"Yang kai, i have heard that for some reason you are unable to cultivate and stuck in Tempered body 3rd stage. I have seen you diligently cultivating all these years despite your shortcomings and even though you ended up loosing all challenges you have always given your best and have never given up. I am very impressed by your perseverance so even though i am not at alchemist or any sort of doctor, i would like to check you once to see if i can be of any help. You can refuse if you find it uncomfortable. " Liu Zheng said with the intention to help him out.

Yang kai did find it suspicious as well as didn't have much hope because even the best doctors gave up when it comes to his condition but it could also be a heaven sent opportunity for him so he thanked Liu Zheng for his kind intentions and stretched his Hand towards him to check his meridians.

Liu Zheng took his hands and used the sharingan to check for any abnormalities.

'I was right! This Yang kai has minuscule amounts of demonic yin qi all over his body which are so well mixed in with his natural Qi that no could find out and even if someone did they wouldn't have the required Qi control to be able to take it out.

Yang Yin Feng, his father was attacked by his brother(same master) and suffered similar injuries as the sect master. Yang kai must have inherited some of the Yin Qi from his father during birth but unlike bleach he didn't get any zangetsu, just some qi related illness because yang kai is human.

The golden skeleton though able to increase someone's cultivation talent doesn't really cure anything. It must have absorbed all the demonic Yin Qi from his body allowing yang kai to finally become able to cultivate which can't happen now due to me but my chaos qi has an inherent purifying effect which can help.' Liu Zheng kept thinking to himself about all this while yanq kai was getting nervous if even i am not able to help him out.

"I can cure your Yang Kai though it will take week to complete the treatment. I can definitely treat you." Liu Zheng said.

Yang kai had tears in his eyes hearing these words for the first time in his life. All his life he has heard "I am sorry", "There is no cure for your condition." etc.

This is the first for him hearing such words. His parents had always worked hard to get help from his yang family and afford even better doctors, taking many dangerous missions for the family but their efforts always ended up in vain. Seeing his parents' distraught faces all the time he had swear to do it himself and come back strong and powerful so that he can make his family proud and even help his younger sister who suffer from the same problem but always looks up to him as an older brother and protect her.

He finally had hope so he bowed down and said "Senior Brother Liu Zheng if you can help me. I Yang Kai will do anything you ask me to do even if it requires crossing a mountain of knives and a sea of fire. I can't thank you enough for your generosity."

"There is no need for you to do all that. First let me cure you first only then you can say thanks to me" Liu Zheng made him stand up again and told him about the procedure which was pretty simple.

Yang kai needs to sit down after taking his upper body clothes of and Liu Zheng will use his special method to repair his meridians which he lied about, it would just be him cleaning his meridians of Yin qi precisely with his chaos qi using his top notch Qi control which could be done in a matter of few hours but Liu Zheng told yang kai that it would take around 10 days to make him more indebted and appear even more great in his eyes. 

Yang kai lead Liu Zheng to his hut where they started the procedure and Liu Zheng cleaned a little bit of the yin qi using the sharingan and Qi control. After that Liu Zheng appeared very tired which was part of the acting and left saying we would follow this procedure for 10 days straight right at this time so yang kai should always be ready.

Liu Zheng finally left the hut on his way to his room with a smile on his face that he managed to make one of the best talents in the whole verse indebted to him and this is going to help him a lot in his future.
