Testing Yang Kai

~'I agree with him. You should go for it. I was going to tell you the same answer anyway but I thought it would be a good time to talk about the origin of your powers because the more you understand it, the better you can use it.'~

....

The three of them continued to talk for another few hours where they only discussed about mundane things and then each went their own way. Zangetsu decided to check out Naruto, Old man had his own things to work on and Liu Zheng left with nothing else to do began cultivating.

Time passed and Su Yan had completed her body cleansing process and went into seclusion right after since she felt she was going to breakthrough a minor realm,'

The sky has now turned dark, it was night time. On the outskirts of the sect, there was boy practising martial arts alone outside of his house, which was more of a hut than a house. To most people he would only appear to be a very hard working guy who's doing martial arts at night but Liu Zheng was able to see much more.

This guy who practicing alone, all on his own was improving at every minute, he was trying new ways to use his moves, adjusting his strength in the ones he already knew, increasing the efficiency of his fighting style and even adding new ones to improve his techniques.

It was totally normal to do these things as it is something all the cultivators do but this brat right here was doing it at a rate visible to Liu Zheng's eyes even without the sharingan activated as he watched him from above. It was something that even he wasn't sure he could achieve at Qi Transformation Realm.

'Indeed, killing such a talent is going to be a huge waste, even bringing me unexpected troubles later on.'

Liu Zheng made his presence known as he elegantly slowly but elegantly landed near the guy who was suprised to see him at this time.

"Senior Brother Liu, What brings you here so late?" Yang Kai greeted him.

"I did have a reason to come here but let's not bring it up right away. Come, let me see what have you been doing these past months." Liu Zheng extended is right hand provoking him to attack.

"Senior brother, It's not good to bully the weak. My attacks won't even land on you." Yang Kai hesitated.

Liu Zheng tilted his head a bit in confusion and replied "This is very out of character for you, you should be pumped up to be able learn something from this opportunity instead. Don't worry. I will adjust my cultivation to your realm."

"Then please advice." Yang Kai's arms began to glow faintly as he infused them with energy, increasing their strength. Without another word, he launched forward, closing the distance in an instant.

Yang Kai's first punch came fast, a powerful strike aimed straight at Liu Zheng's chest. But Liu Zheng sidestepped effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise.

"Focus," Liu Zheng said calmly, dodging another punch with a slight tilt of his body.

Yang Kai face remain mostly unchanged but he was a bit frustrated at the bad start. He pouring more Qi into his strikes. He unleashed a rapid series of kicks and punches, each one crackling with power. Yet, Liu Zheng continued to evade them with ease, his body moving like water, flowing around every attack.

"You're fast, but not precise enough," Liu Zheng commented, his voice steady and unyielding. He ducked under a high kick, then leaned back to avoid a sweeping punch.

Yang Kai frowned, his mind drifting. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts, and renewed his attack. His fists moved even faster, energy crackling with each strike, but his rhythm was off. Liu Zheng continued to evade, his feet barely touching the ground as he flowed around each blow.

"Focus, Yang Kai," Liu Zheng said, easily ducking under a high kick. "Something is distracting you."

Yang Kai gritted his teeth, pushing forward. His mind briefly wandered again, and in that moment of distraction, Liu Zheng saw his opening. With a swift, controlled motion, Liu Zheng stepped in close, tapping Yang Kai's back. The light touch sent a small shockwave through his body that dropped him to one knee.

"That's enough for today," Liu Zheng said, his tone gentle but having a hint of disappointment.

"This is much worse from what I saw a moment ago, Is there something on your mind?" Liu Zheng asked as he helped him get up from the ground.

"No, not really. I was just flustered having to face my savior who cured me and changed my life. I am sorry to have disappointed to you."

"hmmmm, a pretty good reason but half-truth. Now tell me the real reason"

"No, there is really nothing senior brother. Why would I lie to you?" He replied in a way which seemed very convincing but Liu Zheng was simply not in a mood to be convinced so it didn't help.

"Yang Kai, the youngest son of the Yang family of the 10 great families in the Han Dynasty's Capital. See, I know everything so you don't need to worry."

Liu Zheng revealed Yang Kai's identity to lift some pressure off of him but it did the opposite and made him even more tense, going back a few steps as he formed a protective stance.

"And what use is that, huh? You think you can resist if i wanted to kill you or something."

"No, but nobody would like if someone just casually revealed your biggest secret right? It also makes me wonder for how long have you known."

What Yang Kai said did make sense, it would frighten the hell out of him if someone revealed his transmigration to his face.

Liu Zheng took out 2 chairs and a table in the middle out of nowhere which didn't fail to surprise him again, this night has been full of surprises for him but he quickly made sense of the situation by realizing that it must be a soul stone capable of storing objects, a very large one at that since it was capable of storing table and chairs along with a lot of personal belongings.

'No one would use it to just store a set of chairs and a table, right?' Yang Kai thought.

"Sit." Liu Zheng said he poured juice into two glasses. The fruit which was used to extract the juice was similar to mango in this world but had blue peel instead of the usual green or red.

"I think its right for me to start " Yang Kai said as he took his seat and was offered a glass.

"Go right ahead."

"This morning I received a message from the family, ordering all the heirs to return as soon as possible for the inheritance war. The inheritance war, in simple terms, is a war between the heirs of the Yang Family for the position of the Young Patriarch who will later succeed the the current Patriarch."

'The timeline doesn't match at all. There should still be 2 months, but never mind'

"So you are not ready for it, I assume that is why you were distracted?"

"No, I never planned to compete for it, It's just that I have yet to find something very important and I don't have the face to return without it."

"The cure for your sister?" Yang Kai nodded silently and Liu Zheng continued.

"But how were you supposed find it when you weren't even able to defend yourself? Trust me, they will be very happy just by seeing you alive and well, you being able to cultivate again is just added bonus."

Yang Kai sighed and replied "You wouldn't understand Senior Brother. The life I have lived so far and the things that I ought to do."

"Right... I wouldn't. Anyway, let's talk about how I discovered your identity."

Liu Zheng explained the same story of the sect master's disciples and that you were the son of the elder disciple which was a bit of a shock to him but everything made sense to him as to why his father send him specifically here and why his cultivation stagnated.

He also explained to him that Yang Bai is the reason why he was born like that and probably his sister too which caused him to become enraged and his hatred to increase tremendously but knowing that his power was first under the heavens made him feel helpless again like he was when he couldn't cultivate.

"That bastard is responsible for everything my family went through and now I can't even get my revenge from him." He broke the glass in his hand out of anger.

Liu Zheng smiled inwardly as everything was going the exact way he wanted to.

"Do you wish to become stronger?" Liu Zheng asked him in a very serious tone, resembling a devil.

"Yes!" Yang Kai replied sternly which made him like he could do anything for strange.

Liu Zheng extended his right hand in air and a scroll appeared out of thin air and he put it on the table, pushing it towards him.

"What's this?" He asked.

"Open it and see for yourself." Yang Kai opened the scroll and his eyes were met with golden light which made him squint a bit but it soon went away making the golden letters visible.

After carefully going through it, he realized it was an unparallel cultivation art which could make him several times more powerful than anyone in the same realm.

It was the "True Yang Secret Art". Something he was supposed to get much before but better late than never.
