Chapter 02: Time To Lose Some (too much) Weight

I and this body's previous owner parents were sitting in the hall wearing a serious face but in reality, everyone was just feeling awkward

"I don't know what kind of person I was in a past life but now I am a person who doesn't like to talk in a circle so I am going, to be honest. I don't like this awkward silence and gonna break it with a simple demand. I want to be locked in my room without any connection with you two or the world for 6 months until I lose weight and gain muscles but yes I would appreciate it if you give me everything I demand for but don't worry I will pay you back after some time"

At this, they looked at me with a surprised face probably because I heard from servants that the previous guy was a total loser who could never talk to anybody like this

"T-this is... I cannot fulfill... you just graduated from high school and are about to enter a university if you did spend six months locked inside it will ruin your life" Mr. Baek said that with a worried voice while Mrs. Baek just kept silent

"I see... then it could not be possible... fair enough" I sighed

"But you could still work out and go to university," He said as he waved his hand in nervousness "I will do my best to provide you everything"

"No need for that Mr.Baek I would just like to leave... thank you for taking care of me... I will send you the money you had to spend on me after a few months" I bowed my head and stood up ready to leave as I walked towards the gate

"N-no wait for this... I-" He was too confused at what just happened he wanted to stop me but he still couldn't accept my demands and due to that he couldn't speak properly

"No! wait! I accept your demands!" Mrs. Baek said with a panic in her voice which was quite obvious... I mean she is a mother after all... who just was about to lose his son forever and after returning from the door of death he is leaving her again

"This..." He sighed "Alright it's fine 6 months is not that much... I will support you till the end my son" He smiled gently

"..." I looked behind and saw the gentle and warm smile on their face which made me remind them of my past life... I was an orphan who never had a parent well I was adopted later but I was just a test project... for 'that'

I sighed "I see... I will like to stay at room if it's alright?"

"S-sure but how would we know that what kind of food you want to eat if you will close every connection with us?" Mrs. Baek... no mother said that with a worried face of a mother well I heard that mothers care about the health of their children so I guess it's common?

"Just put a dog door at the door of my room for letter exchange and food," I said as I walked upstairs but after few steps, I stopped and looked at them with an awkward smile "Which is my room again?"

Mother and father looked at each other and let out a chuckle "Third room right side your name is also written at door"

"I see... thank you" I bowed his head a little and went to his no... my room

As I entered my room it was surprisingly quite maintained for a teenager "Ho?" I smiled and looked around the room trying to find something so I can gain knowledge about this body's previous life

As I was looking around I found a phone which was surely the previous guy phones

I opened the phone and swiped up and again surprisingly there were no locks "Dont teenagers used to love putting locks for no reason in this era?"

I looked through the phone and couldn't find anything... even in contacts there were only 3 people phone numbers; Dad, Mum, and Best Friendo

I nodded after seeing 'Best Friendo' yep this dude is a weeb just like I was in the past when I was a teen

I tapped on the option 'blacklist' and there were... around 8 unsaved numbers there "Ho...? this dude blocked 8 people? bullies? meh like I care"

I threw my phone at bed as there was no info there and continued to look through my room and suddenly my eyes fell on 5 bookshelves which were filled with books but what I went for the bookshelf of manga

I randomly start to take out manga with a big smile on my face remembering my past life where I used to read a lot... like really a lot

my eyes suddenly fell on the set book behind other books at the 5th row of bookshelf "Ho... this is interesting" I smiled
