Blake turned around as one of the leaders of the camp guard called out to him.
"Four men are waiting for you outside the boundary," he informed him in Greek.
Blake knew precisely who he was referring to—Ares and his comrades. He had sent them on a mission, and now that they had gathered enough information, they were here to report back.
"I will meet with them," he replied.
It had only been a few days since he had dispatched them to the enemy's stronghold for reconnaissance. Remarkably, they had completed the mission in a short period. The skill of this group was truly exceptional; after all, they wouldn't be under the employ of Erwan Heusaff if they weren't exceptional.
Hiring them had come at a great cost, not only in terms of finances but also in risking the secrecy of his family's centuries-old affairs, all for Cassie's safety.
