In two days time

STEEL VILLA

 Their car drove in and Adelaide couldn't stop looking at the beautiful surroundings, it looked so gigantic and pleasing to watch. The security guard opens the door for them and they come out, Nicholas leads her toward the entrance door and she can feel her nervously already.

 "Calm down" he smiled as they entered the room, everyone was seated like they were waiting for them, all their eyes were focused on Adelaide who wished for the ground to open and swallow her.

 "Welcome daughter in law" Mr Steel said with a smile. Adelaide bow respectfully before looking around. There was an elderly lady who she believed to be their mother, then there were two girls, one was smiling at her while the other one didn't look up from the phone she was pressing. She finally looks in the direction she has been feeling someone watching her and meets eyes with a boy, he looks younger than Nicholas which makes her conclude he must be Vald. 

 "You guys should introduce yourself," Mr Everest said.

 "I am Theresa Steel,Nicholas's stepmother" the older women said and Adelaide bow respectfully fully.

 "I am Vald, didn't know my brother is getting married to a beautiful damsel" he said and smirk when he saw the look on Noah face.

 "I am Johanna steel" the girl that was pressing her phone said without looking up from her phone.

 "Andrea steel" the last girl said, she was beaming with a smile and looked like the youngest among them.

 "You are pretty," Adelaide said.

 "You too, I am so happy to meet you" the girl said and grabbed her hand, she made sure Adelaide sat beside her.

 "So where are your parents? I was expecting them to be here" Mr Steel asked.

 "I am an orphan, I only have a brother," she said gently.

 "Then where is your brother?" Mrs Steel (Theresa) asked.

 "He should be here any minute," he said and checked her time.

 "So you are a waitress at the club?" Mrs Steel asked.

 "Yeah" she said and looked at Vald, he has been staring at her since she arrived and that is making her uncomfortable.

 "Let's go to the dining room, the food is already prepared" a maid said and they all stood up.

 Adelaide trip with the sight of their dining room, everything about the place was awesome. She swallowed when she saw the table, it was filled with different delicacies , there was a lot of food, she watched as they started eating. She was confused as she looked around.

 "Eat sister in law," Andrea said with a smile. She slowly picked her cutlery and started eating.

 Mr Steel was about to talk but then footsteps distracted them as Fransisco was brought to the dinner. He had a smirk on his face, he styled his hair and was wearing glittering earrings. He cut off the sleeve of the suit, turning it into an armless tuxedo. Which made him look very hot. His tattoo was showing giving the bad boy vibes. Andrea spoon was mid air as she stared at him the same thing with others except Johanna who was still focused on her phone.

 "I hope I am not too late?" He asked with a smile that is when Johanna finally look up, she stare at him in surprise. Francisco smile when he saw the way they are staring at her, he went to sit beside Andrea whose was shaking nervously. 

 "Calm down cat, I don't bite" he wink at her and she almost lost her breath. Johanna scoffed and continued pressing her phone.

 "I am guessing this is your brother," Mr Steel said while looking at Fransisco.

 "Yeah, nice to meet you" he said and carried his cutlery. Mr Steel looked at him for sometime before continuing his talk.

 "So about your wedding" he said and everyone listened to what he wanted to say.

 "Your wedding is gonna be happening in two days" he dropped the bomb and everyone looked shocked.

 "Dad," Nicholas called in surprise.

"What is this old man up to"He thought.

 "That's final, you said the news will go down but it kept increasing, so reporters even have the gut to visit here this morning, so I can't wait anymore, they are getting on my nerves" Mr Steel said.

 "I don't think she is even ready for the marriage yet" Nicholas said and they all turn to Adelaide.

 "Are you ready yet?" Mr Steel asked.

 "Yeah…." She replied with mixed feelings.

"How can she just agreed to that"Nicholas thought.

 "See don't even try to make excuses, you guys should go shopping tomorrow and buy everything you will need" Mr Steel said and stood up, his wife also followed him as they left.

 "Are you really okay with this, can you tell me if you are not?" Nicholas said to her hoping she changes her mind.

 "I am okay" she said and he suddenly grabbed her hand.

 "Let me show you around," he said and took her out. Vald' eyes were at their back as they walked out. He bites his lip slowly.

 "So what's your name, cat?" Francisco asked while looking at Andrea.

 "Andrea" she said and he smile.

 "What's your name?" He asked who was still pressing her phone but she didn't even respond.

 "She is Johanna, she doesn't like talking to strangers, let me show you around" Andrea said and they both went out. Johanna raises her head up and stares at them.

 "So how did you see the wife?" Vald suddenly asked.

 "I don't care, don't ask me" she scoffed rudely.

 "Are you still angry that Andrea got the highest score in school?"Vald asked.

 "Of course I am," she said.

 "You shouldn't put too much hate, she is your sister," Vald said.

 "It's funny coming from someone who hates his brother," Johanna scoffed.

 "He is not my brother, it's just unfortunate that we have the same father," Vald said.

 "Same here, it's bad enough that we are living on the same roof, so stop calling her my sister, I will never see her that way" Johanna snapped before walking away. Vald left for his room too.

 "That girl, I don't think she is the right person for Noah" Mrs Steel said, she was sitting beside her husband.

 "Why did you think so?" Mr Steel asked.

 "She didn't have any relatives, look at her brother, I don't even want to stand in his presence, they are classless, how will someone like that marry our son?" Mrs Steel asked.

 "So to cut to your stories short, I believe you are trying to say they can't marry because she is poor and didn't have any relative?" Mr Steel asked.

 "I am just trying to help, she looks like a golddigger, she didn't see anything wrong with him having a child because all she cares about is hit money, she didn't complete the wedding too, she was just too desperate to get rich" she said.

 "I can't believe this is coming from you, remember we just spent a night together and then you were pregnant, you kept on disturbing me till my wife found out, she brought you into this house, I can't believe you are now judging her" Mr Steel said.

 " Why are you talking about my past?" she asked.

 "Am just making you realize that, if she is a golddigger, then you too" Mr Steel said .

 "It hasn't gone to that extent, I am just trying to protect my son," she said.

 "He isn't your son," Mr Steel said and left for his study room.

 "She hasn't married into this family and all this is happening already" Mrs Steel thought as a smirk came to her face.

 "So how did you see the place?" Nicholas asked. He was still holding her hand which made her feel butterflies.

 "It's more beautiful than I can imagine," she smiled.

 "Good to hear that, you will move here after marriage" he said.

 "What about my brother?" She asked gently.

 "He will be living here too, dad likes it when all family members live together" Nicholas said with a smile.

 "About his college, " she said.

 "Don't worry I am on it already, he will be going to the same college with Andrea and Johanna " Nicholas said.

 "You are really nice, " she muttered.

 "Not really " he said and started walking away, she ran after him immediately. 

 "Why did I find her cute?" Nicholas mutters from where he was watching them, he just loves seeing her. Maybe this is what they called love at first sight.

"Love at first sight"He scoffed.

 "You are spending the night here, tell your brother too" Nicholas said as they entered his room together.

 "But why? Is it not too early?" She asked.

 "What else you have to prepare for the wedding, you have only tomorrow to remember" Nicholas said and entered the bathroom. She stood up and started looking around the room. 

"i will be getting married in two days time it's too soon but I got no choice I really need his help to achieve things.

 The bathroom door opened and Nicholas came out, he was already in his pajamas.

 "I am going to see my dad now, you can sleep on the bed, I will sleep in the sitting room" Nicholas said.

 "No no, you can sleep on your bed, I don't mind sleeping on the couch" she said.

 "Do you think I will ever allow you to do that?" He asked before walking out of the room. Adelaide lay down with a smile plastered on her face.

 "He is so nice" she said and roll around on the bed.

 "This is your room, sleep tight," Andrea said gently.

 "Thanks cat" he smirks which makes her smile.

 "If you need anything, that is my room" she said pointing at a door at the opposite side.

 "Goodnight, I guess I will see you tomorrow" he said and went in. Autumn stood at the same place with a bright smile before hopping to her room.

 "Fools" Johanna mutters , she has been watching them, she went to her room and sat down. She brings out her phone and chest the school post. She saw a post about her and Andrea's pictures and Andrea's pictures were more likable than hers.

 "Why must this happen every time?" she scoffed and threw her phone away.

 "I think I need to put a stop to this" she thought as her mind went to Fransisco, she rolled her eyes and fell asleep.
