"Your so interested in the history of Alvania huh?" He asked and moved closer to her that their noses touched

"Am kind of a book worm" she replied calmly and felt him pull her closer with his hand on her waist. She was cut off guard but just stared at those eyes

"You didn't even eat all day?" He questioned further making Elaine realize that it was dark already and the thought of food made her tummy cry out

Alexander heard her tummy's cry for food and chuckled a bit

"Come, let's go eat" he said smiling sweetly at her. She just nodded slightly with a red face

Alexander brought her to a small dinning where they both had their dinner together, Elaine felt shy throughout the dinner, mostly because Alexander insisted on feeding her

"We will be going back to dystrya tomorrow, you need to see your parents" he said calmly when they were done eating and Elaine's face suddenly became a bit pale

She really missed her family but what would her dad do to her if he finds out she and Alexander didn't consummate

"What? You don't want to go" he asked

"Of course I want to" she said and he smiled

The newly Weds walked into their bedroom with Elaine standing few feets behind Alexander.

Elaine got changed first and went straight to bed. By the time Alexander walked out of the bathroom she was sound asleep. He laid with his back against the soft bed and his gaze on the ceiling, he turned and looked at her  for a while before closing his eyes

The next morning Elaine woke up alone again and took a hot bath with the help of Halsey then got dressed into a luxurious purple gown with beautiful patterns on it and a golden tiara on her head she ate her breakfast in her room and went out to find Alexander so they could leave

She saw Xavier walk towards her and her expression turned cold "his highness won't be accompanying you to dystrya, he is busy" Xavier said to her  calmly

"Why?" She questioned feeling a bit worried and scared. If he didn't accompany her, she would be in more trouble with her parents

"He is busy " Xavier said simply

Elaine left alone with her personal maid accompanying her. Xavier went back to meet the prince. He stopped in front of a carriage and knocked twice

"Is everything set" Alex asked a from the inside and Xavier nodded.

Elaine and Halsey where in a carriage together headed towards dystrya when they heard a sound of clashing swords

Halsey held onto Elaine for fear while Elaine remained unfazed

"What's going on" Elaine asked

"I think we're being ambushed" Halsey said in fear

"Don't worry I'll protect you with my life" Halsey said making Elaine chuckle lightly

"Really, and your shaking" Elaine said with playfulness in her eyes

"Your highness how can you be unfazed" Halsey asked

"It's a good thing Alexander didn't follow us, I don't want to reveal this side of me yet" she said with a smirk"Your highness, what are you doing" Halsey asked as she watched Elaine walk out of the carriage

Alexander was keeping watch of the situation where no one could see him and was about to step in when he saw Elaine walk out gracefully with a smirk on her face. He decided to just relax and watch the show

Elaine strode towards the men and once the assassin's caught glimpse on her they all fell in awe

"Wow, the prince sure has good taste, such a pretty princess" a disgusting man with a ring in his tongue said and Elaine almost felt like throwing up

"Gentlemen, Please let us go, if you let us go peacefully, I can assure you that you will leave with only a broken leg" she said calmly with sugar clothing mockness covering her voice

The men smirked at her." What a brave princess, it's too bad, we are here for the prince and I heard he was a very strong man but he sent his wife to beg for him" one of the men mimicked

"You married a man with no backbone" another said and they all laughed

"Oh no, does he even have the strength to please you in bed or are you the one on top" the man with the ring on his tongue said and Alexander who was standing by couldn't bear it anymore

"Your highness, if you go the plan would be ruined" Xavier who already read the prince's mind said and Alex finally calmed down

Elaine looked at the men and watched them closely before speaking.

"Okay, when you are done laughing like dogs, you can see for yourselves if my husband is here" she said calmly but the men where a bit aggravated by her words

The leader sent one of them to check but he came out with Halsey and was squeezing her hand

"Sir, the prince isn't here" he said and pushed Halsey to the ground

Elaine watched Halsey fall on her stomach and all hell broke loose

"How dare you!" She yelled at the man in anger that he felt cold chills run down his smile

"Okay, since you dare treat my personal maid this way, I won't have mercy on you fools" she said with a smirk and their leader got aggravated as well

"I think it's time to teach the princess some manners" he said with gritted teeth

"I promise you, if you can give me a scratch then I will give you my tiara" she said and they all looked at the golden tiara

"Boss, if we get that tiara then we would be so rich" one of the men said to their leader

"Okay" the leader agreed with Elaine and walked closer to her and reached out to grab her hand violently but before he could Elaine in one swift move grabbed his and twisted it at his back before violently hitting his back violently with her heels

"Aaaah" the man screamed in pain.
