Alexander's story

Yes I've sensed their presence" she replied truthfully

"Do you feel uncomfortable with their presence " he asked calmly and she nodded. As safe as it's supposed to make her feel she didn't like being watched over like a child

"Okay I'll call them off" he said with a smile and she threw herself at him once again hugging him close as if saying a thank you

"What else do you want to know wife?" He asked calmly. She pulled away and faced him her eyes pleading for him to answer her questions

"What exactly happened in your childhood that made you seclude yourself from your family?" Her eyes where looking deep into his pleadingly and he knew he had to tell her everything at that moment

"Sigh" he exhaled before speaking

"The queen of Alvania couldn't conceive a child and the king had an affair with a maid in the palace, he later on learnt she was pregnant and took her in as a concubine. The queen of Alvania wanted her to birth the child and give it to her that way she could tell the people that she had birthed the child but the king refused, later on the queen finally conceived a child and the news was spread that the heir to the Alvanian throne had finally being conceived. To make sure that her child was heir she tried all she could, plotting to kill the concubine. But the king reassured her that her child will be future king and the concubine's child will be sent out of the kingdom with her.

My mother was the concubine and she died while birthing me, the nurses said it was because she was put into constant stress and she had complications in her pregnancy. Bruises were found on her skin and they had to be careful while holding her. The king decided to keep me with a nanny and at the age of nine he made me a servant boy who cleaned the swords of the soldiers. By then the queen had given birth to Kevin and the twin princesses.

The nanny had told me all about my mother because they were best friends. The queen and her children bullied me every chance they got. One time the queen's children were playing in the garden while I picked up a sword and tried to use it to train myself since no one would play with me. Then princess Victoria threw a stone at me. I looked at her in rage while they all laughed and continued throwing stones at me , I burned with rage and suddenly my nails grew long and black, I suddenly had fangs and noticed scales on my body. I could see the fear in their eyes and screamed at them, I opened my eyes to realize that I actually spat fire, the princesses had already ran away but Kevin wanted to act like a hero and got burned by the flames. The soldiers close by hurried to his side to aide him. And since then Kevin and the princesses called me a monster or a demon. Years past by and I was still getting bullied by the queen then one day the queen was caught in the arms of a corrupt duke and was beheaded alongside her lover. After her death, the king let me into the family as the second prince of Alvania.

The king sent me out into the battle fields at such a young age. I was always put in the front lines so I could die at war, but everytime I returned home victorious and cold. I knew they weren't my family, they all wanted me dead. Even my father barely spoke to me, he always had his hopes crumbled everytime I returned home victorious and more stronger from the battle fields. I had promised myself never to let them see fear or sadness in my eyes. I won't give them the pleasure of seeing me in pain. But after being with you. I suddenly feel emotions that I've never felt before, you melted my cold heart with your being " he concluded the story and faced her. Her cheeks where wet with tears

"What's wrong " Alexander sat up with her and she threw herself at him again sobbing profusely

"How could they do such inhumane things to you " she cried out loud

"It's fine Elaine " he made her face him

"I have you now. You are my family now. Wife, I am more than happy that I have you as my wife and life partner" he said lovingly cupping her cheeks

She stared deep into his eyes. This man has been through Soo much and still held on strong. This daring husband of her's, all he deserved was love, support and care. He doesn't need more sufferings he's been through enough already

She suddenly spouted "Xander" at the sound of that name his eyes glowed brightly golden and she felt sucked into his blazing golden eyes the light kept getting brighter that it almost blinded her and she shut her eyes closed tight. Once she opened them she was now in Alexander's room, a very little child stood at the mirror crying and shivering. He was muttering something she couldn't hear so she got close to him and she could clearly hear him saying "I'm a monster" he kept repeating those words as a mantra.

Elaine wanted to go to him hug him and tell him he was definitely not a monster but suddenly someone barged into the room, it was a young looking woman adorned as a queen, she was indeed a very beautiful

"Alexander!" She barked at the already frightened child and grabbed onto his arms harshly

"Your majesty" little Alexander cried out in pain

"Kevin is the crown prince and you almost killed him . You good for nothing son of a b**tch " she roared

"It was a mistake. I promise I didn't -" he kept hiccupping between every word

"You are just like your mother that whore!" She threw him on the ground mercilessly
