Diane checked her door locks before venturing to her bedroom to ensure that the condo solely belonged to her now.
It felt so surreal to have to deal with herself alone in that apartment given the trauma she has had to face just by Phillip's mere presence.
Diane was lost in that feeling of relief and totally forgot about the call she got earlier plus the fact that she had left her phone on aeroplane mode.
In the mood for celebration, she went into the kitchen to pick up a bottle of red wine and opened it up in the dining area. Next, she pulled out a chair for herself and sat down as she turned on her laptop and poured herself a drink.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Christian sat in his car and watched the familiar face of Phillip Sanders angrily matching towards his car before driving off furiously a minute later.
