Accepting His Proposal
Diane was not allowed to help out and watched Christian until he finished cooking and served the sweet-smelling delicious pasta in two deep flat plates.
He even went the extra mile of garnishing the plates with some sauce and sprinkles of parsley.
"You can go ahead and eat first. I will go take a shower," he said after setting the bottle of wine and two glasses on the dining table. "Which room did you keep my things?"
Without saying much, she led him to her bedroom and explained where he could find a few things before leaving him to his business.
Instead of eating by herself, Duane turned on the TV to entertain herself.
Christian was surprised when he finished freshening up and stepped out only to see the food untouched.
"Why haven't you eaten yet?" he asked, looking a little worried that she might no longer be interested in eating.
Hearing his voice, Diane stretched her neck towards his direction with a little surprise masking her face.
