CH379. Could it be about her pregnancy

It is only after a long time that Lu Chong Mu finally looks up to speak.

" I will blame you if anything happens to her. That idiot is your friend," Old Lu says at last. But hatred is evident on his face.

"Okay," Lu Min Chen says. And he knows that the old man has given in.

After investigating Luoshan, he had felt so bad when he knew of the things that had happened.

And he was a bit mad that he did not share it with him before he left.

But it was still understandable. How could Yu Luoshan approach him after having a night with Yu Yan?

"Do you want to throw her away just like that? Shouldn't  there be a wedding at least?" Lu Min Chen asks.

"You know where such things should be discussed! And, you are not the person to say them. Is it you that is going to marry her?" Lu Chong Mu asks in anger.

Of course, Yu Luoshan had gone to find him, proposing for a hand in marriage with his granddaughter.

But the man got so angry when Yu Luoshan confessed that he was the man who had impregnated Yu Yan.

Even though the reasons for his departure were valid, the man was still mad at him and sent him away.

And Yu Yan had gone to find him again last night. And she begged him to let them get married.

"He will come. Just do not send him away again or your precious granddaughter will be mad at you forever," Lu Min Chen says without any care in the world.

Old Lu clicks his tongue and leaves. But it is obvious that they have come to an agreement.

Yu Yan is allowed to get married to Luoshan. They can finally be husband and wife.

After he has left, Lu Min Chen turns to look at Ye Xiao Xiao. "He is forcing you to go with him?" He asks.

Ye Xiao Xiao quickly shakes her head. "No, I just agreed because it will be the first time I am working with him. Do not overthink, okay?"

"Xiao Xiao?" Lu Min Chen calls, looking directly into Ye Xiao Xiao's eyes.

He knows that something is never right. She is always so scared whenever she sees the old man.

And recently, her behaviours have always been so funny. She would just get scared of being left in the room alone. 

"Mmh?" Ye Xiao Xiao says. But she tries looking away from him.

"No," Lu Min Chen says and holds her face in place. "Look at me in the eye."

"Min Chen?" Ye Xiao Xiao calls him again. She is scared that he will find out all the emotions she is hiding inside her.

"What should I do to you if I find out that there are some things that you are hiding from me?" He asks calmly.

Ye Xiao Xiao trembles hearing his question. Did he find out something? Ummm, could it be about her pregnancy?
