CH323. Confession

Lu Min Chen does my see Ye Xiao Xiao coming into their room after he has already changed.

He walks back downstairs but he still does not see her. 

He walks towards her previous room. She should not have gone back there, right?

They are now married, and their relationship has been so good. She cannot be mad at him, right?

Just as he is about to enter the room whose door is still open wide, he halts, hearing Ye Xiao Xiao's voice.

'I have been in love with you Ah Chen. I want to be yours...'

Thinking that his ears are playing a trick on him, he listens carefully.

There is silence for some seconds. And just when he is about to walk in, thinking that he was just having his own hallucinations, she speaks again.

'Ah Chen, let us be together. You love me, right?'

This time, he is sure that this is her voice. He is sure that she is saying those words.

He walks in, his heart beating so fast. And she is there, standing before the mirror.

Ye Xiao Xiao senses his presence and tenses up a little. "Ah Chen..." She calls, her face turning a shed of red.

Lu Min Chen came abruptly. He must have heard the words that she was just saying.

Lu Min Chen looks at her. "What did you just say now?" He asks, his whole body shaking.

"Um..." Ye Xiao Xiao becomes so shy. She was not able to say those words very easily when she was alone. How is she supposed to say them to him now?

"Xiao Xiao, the words you just said now... Did you mean them?" He asks again and even holds her hand.

He wants to hear her say those words again. He is sure that she said them, judging from her expression. But he wants to hear them again.

"Ah Chen... I... I," she keeps on stammering.

"Say it Xiao Xiao," Lu Min Chen urges her, shaking her a little. He puts his hands on both of her cheeks and looks into her eyes. "Tell me if you mean it, please."

Ye Xiao Xiao takes in a deep breath. Then she nods her head. "Mmh, that is true. I love you... I love you Ah Chen. You will not leave me, right?" She asks, and tries looking away from him, her body trembling.

Lu Min Chen remains quiet for a while. And it scares her. Is he going to turn her away?

She raises her head to look at him. And she is shocked to see a very big smile on his face. He is smiling, looking back at her. 

But he is not saying anything at all.

"Ah Chen..." She calls him. She even begins regretting her decision to confess.

Then suddenly, Lu Min Chen releases her. And he walks out of the room, closing the door behind him.

"Ah Chen..." She calls, her fear increasing. Isn't he going to say anything?

She has confessed to him. She has told him that she loves him!
