"True champions, like the sun, cannot be eclipsed for long." Amber has been eclipsed and can't fight any longer.
"I advise you come take your friend to the hospital before you loose her, she has been lying here for about twenty minutes and I am not in the position to help her, come to her rescue before it is too late.
Not less than another twenty minutes, Diana appeared in Amber's house to find her lying in her blood. She never bothered about questions, but rushed her to the hospital only for the doctor to announce she was sleeping.
"That's ridiculous doctor, she is bleeding and you can see that," she said with so much concern.
"Is she your sister," the doctor asked preparing to leave the ward. She continued, meet me in my office. Diana followed her immediately.
"She was lucky her nose did not bleed that much because she raised her head. But she will be fine after she wakes up, she is weak due to the sharp pain in her head," the doctor said and assured she will he fine as soon as she wakes up.
After the brief meeting with the doctor, she notified the doctor she will be going home to freshen up and probably change into something else-outfit.
Diana came in after two hours to find out Amber was already awake, staring at the empty bed opposite her.
"Hi Amber, how do you feel now?" She asked, using her hand to check her temperature from her neck. She began starring at Diana immediately she showed up. Every thing she says would not be responded to because she was regretting why she swapped her husband for a monster.
She broke the silence when she found out that Diana got tired of asking questions.
"When are you going to bring back my man?"
"Oh, you can talk now? It's fine anyways," she said in a lower tone and quite friendly.
"I asked you to bring me my man since that early afternoon you came to my house, up until now you haven't done anything about it," she said in pain, trying to lay in a different position. She continued, "now you have seen what your husband has done to me, can you now send back my husband to my house?" She asked, looking straight into Diana's eyes.
Diana saw the failure and weakness in her eyes, she pitied her. "I will tell your husband to go back to your house as soon as I get to my place," she said in her pitiful tone as she embraced her in her bed.
"I have to get going now,"Diana said, looking straight into her eyes, waiting for her to say something, as she carried her handbag and left.
She was lying down without any word until Diana left. She felt like a loser; a heavy weight champion couldn't beat a mere man than is not even a fighter. Many thoughts in her head and how she dared Diana to a bet.
"She will begin to see me like a loser that I am," she spoke out, sighed and hissed.
Few hours from when Diana left the hospital, she was discharged. She never wanted to tell Diana that has been discharged. Diana came to the hospital again to check on her and probably take her home because the doctor said she would be discharged in the evening, only to be notified that she had discharged.
She went straight to her house to find Charles sweeping the compound, she didn't say anything to him as she went straight to the house.
She found Amber in the living room watching TV and eating pop corn with a glass of wine. "Haven't you learnt your lessons that this man is a good man sent to bring you happiness again," Diana came in to query her for not telling her before leaving the hospital, but on seeing Charles sweeping, got her more furious and she forgot the initial query.
"So you are trying to tell me that I have been miserable all these years I have been with my ex-husbands," her pick up line was so bad.
"I advise you take care of that man and learn to treat him like your husband, else i will be forced to take him away from you," Diana threatened and left her place in anger.
She got outside to find out that Charles was done sweeping. "You are also washing her car she doesn't allow you drive?" When will you learn to be a man Charles?" Immediately Diana said that, Amber who followed her not quite immediately replied her, "that moment you learn to mind your business, he will become a man, now leave my compound," she asked her friend out of her compound and went in that minutes.
Charles continued his washing so he won't incure any wrath that moment. Diana went home to find her husband furious.
"why are you in the state of mind, what's the matter?" She asked so concerned as she dropped her bag on the couch.
"I followed you to your friends place to see the look on her face when you talk to her, just to find out that she still maltreat that useless man that isn't man enough. I had to go back because if I had entered into that house, I would have dealt with that woman the more," he said as he stood up and was walking around like one who was expecting a fight that instant.
"You have to calm down, I told her about it already but she asked me out of her house," she said as she breath in and out, had her seat since it wasn't anything that concerns her.
Diana and her husband seem cool but, she tries dominating the him and sometimes he disagrees with her dominance and that always lead to their fights.
His balls is the only place Diana attacks when she wants to win the fight but when she couldn't reach there, she knows she is in a big trouble.
And whenever he wants to win the fight, he hits her so hard anywhere, she will give up either by fainting or if she gets weak while fighting.
Their fights is always once in a while because they know each other's lane and they respects that. Amber had cut off their friendship because she thinks Diana was meek so she could get Charles to herself.
