The marble floors made noises resonating with my steps until I found myself facing the giant doors of the Training Room.

From the outside, I could hear the faint noise of steel clashing against steel.

"Radar"

Even though it was unnecessary, I still opted to use the new spell I acquired. It was a refined version of echolocation used by Bluebats in the beast glades.

The spell had a short casting time, and produced accurate results, showing the position and shape of everything in the vicinity.

However, this spell was not very popular due to its drawbacks.

The mage using this spell will be immobile for a few seconds due to the sudden burst on information hammering their brain. And in some cases, it might make it harder to use other offensive or defensive spells.

But enough with the theory.

I opened the door and saw the two most important people in this world clashing their swords. The arcs of silver left behind after they swung at each other, now carried weight behind them.

"Didn't expect to see you here." Virion spoke with sweets in his hand. He gave me one before taking a bite out of another.

"I figured I shouldn't stay cooped up in the library all the time."

"That's a good choice, but what are you going to do? I don't think swordsmanship is going to help you any further unless you make your own personal style."

"That can wait, for now I want to test out some magic."

"Mind if I see join?"

From behind, Virion Arthur spoke before sheathing his sword. Since coming to this kingdom, he had been on guard against everyone, but nowadays I could see a little acceptance in his eyes.

'I wonder what my eyes look like…'

"Sure." Saying so, I moved to an open area and prepared the spell.

Overlap.

The phenomena I experienced during awakening. It was like another layer of mana was spread on top of my brain as a protective film.

It gave me a clue to design my spells. The structure will be the same as a normal ardent fireball but the output will be different.

[Initializing]

I felt my subconscious whisper before the visual representation of my spell structure came to life.

"Fuuu…."

A shallow breath escaped my lips as I started to overlap the spell.

'Hmm…the core seems to be a simple magic wave with properties of heat, but ardent seems to amplify the output.'

"If that's the case, then…"

The best method of overlap is simply double incantation. It was the easiest derived method for overlap. But there was a problem in this approach…

The human mind comprehends incantation as a parallel line, never to meet. So unless you are able to take control of two bodies simultaneously or grow another mouth….it would be impossible to bring it to reality.

"ⱠȺꝚƀɇɨȼɆ ɌɆꝈɆꝚⱠɎ ⱠꞭɆɆⱠɅ ƉɆꞤɅɆⱠ."

The room became dimmer as winds started blowing inside and a giant ball of flame appeared in front of me. The swirling ball of heat was threatening to let loose and cause havoc inside, but I kept it in control.

"Andrew! Turn it off!"

"It's okay, I've got it under control. Just make sure you put a barrier around everyone Virion."

I said before canceling the spell.

"….What was that?"

I didn't answer the question and stared to fold the overlapped spell.

Virion, upon noticing that let out a groan of annoyance and set a large barrier behind me.

'I can't let it fold too much or it'll collapse in on itself and create a backlash.'

Carefully setting up the parameters, I folder the spell in on itself a total of seven times before overlapping it with another identical folded spell.

Urrrng—!

A weird sound resonated inside my brain before it felt like a lock had been opened.

" ▇▇"

I felt my breath hitch, threatening to break my chant as I uttered the words.

'Amazing…'

It was a wonder how my brain was able to understand it, yet unable to the words leaving my mouth. But I did it.

Whooosh—!

A small bright light came out, lighting up the entire room and radiating dangerous amounts of heat.

If I hadn't set up an additional barrier, Virion and the rest of the kids would have been turned to charcoal.

I kicked the ground with my feet and shot it up above the sky.

Boooom—!

"Damn…"
