CH 158: Date

"What about this one?" Erlong hummed in curiosity as she pointed at a cute skirt inside of a shop they were in.

Huo Wu thought about it as she nodded and looked around :"that's a good pick. And it will definitely go well with this shirt."

She hummed as she pointed at a dark red, long sleeve button up shirt. Zhuqing beside them also nodded in approval :"yeah, the black skirt and the dark red shirt make a good combination. What do you think, Ali?"

They all turned to look at Ali who was sitting on a chair nonchalantly with a lollipop in his mouth. With his elbow on his leg and hand on his cheek as support, he hummed and nodded :"yeah, it definitely looks good. The style definitely suits Erlong, it will make her look like a high class business woman."

Erlong nodded with a smile on her gorgeous face :"Alright, then we'll take these ones as well. Please write that down."

Having learnt from previous dates that holding the chosen clothes was boring as fuck, Ali would now always put them in his Majesty's Ring.

However, he couldn't do that without paying for them first. Otherwise, how would the store owner know if he stole something or not?

And so, Ali would always tell the cashier to send one of the workers to come with them and write down everything that they have picked.

This way, Ali could just put them in his Majesty's Ring without a problem. The worker girl nodded with a smile and wrote it down in her notebook :"yes, miss!

It's done, do you perhaps want to look at our jewelry section as well? I guarantee that they will definitely suit your tastes!"

Erlong shook her head in denial with a smile :"no need, we have shopped enough for today and must go back."

Ali tilted his head and raised an eyebrow :"I can wait if you want, you know? No need to worry about me, you know that I will wait."

Erlong nodded with a smile :"I know, love. But we are tight on schedule. We should return since the matches will start in a while."

Zhuqing nodded as well at him :"sister Erlong right, Ali. We should return so that we won't be late for our own match."

Seeing that it had nothing to do with her anymore and was personal business, the worker girl excused herself and went away.

Ali rolled his eyes with a smirk as he put his hands on the back of the seat and leaned back nonchalantly :"oh please, even if we are late, the others will take care of it.

After all, I've already taken care of Shen Feng (Godwond) school and Lei Ting (Thunderclap). They've recovered, so it won't be a problem for them to take care of this round's team."

"Don't underestimate them." Surprisingly, it was Huo Wu who warned him. As the three looked at her with curiosity, she explained :"your opponents are the Tian Shui school.

That's why I said you shouldn't underestimate them. Tian Shui school is one of the five elemental schools, and they aren't weak at all."

Ali raised an amused eyebrow as he tilted his head :"you were acting like you didn't even put ME, a level 50 soul king with all century millennium soul rings, in your eyes when we fought.

Yet you are saying that a team of a few level 40 soul ancestors and some level 30 soul elders will be worthy of my attention?"

Huo Wu rolled her eyes with a sigh :"yes, they won't be anything against you, but that is the case if you participate.

However, if you and Zhuqing don't participate, then the chances of your team losing will be quite high.

Sigh, I hate to admit it, but the captain of the Tian Shui school, Shui Bing'er, is quite a capable soul master. She is a level 40 soul ancestor, and there has been a rivalry between us for a very long time.

So take my advice and participate in this round along with Zhuqing. I wouldn't tell you to be careful if it was just her, however, she and her teammate have a martial soul fusion skill. Even you might face some troubles if you go against it by yourself."

A smirk appeared on Ali's handsome face as he chuckled and glanced at Zhuqing :"you hear that, Zhuqing? They have a martial soul fusion skill."

Zhuqing nodded with a small smile as she folded her arms under her big breasts :"yes, I heard it clearly."

Huo Wu frowned in confusion as she looked at the two :"why are you acting like this? I just told you that they have martial soul fusion skill! That's very dangerous to go against."

Erlong chuckled as she circled her hand around Huo Wu's waist :"don't worry, Huo Wu. They might have a martial soul fusion skill, but who said that we don't have it either?"

Huo Wu's beautiful eyes went wide in shock as she looked at Erlong :"what?! Are you serious, sister Erlong? Between which members?"

However, when she saw how all three of them were smirking, Huo Wu's eyes went wide as she shakily turned her head to look at Ali and Zhuqing :"y-you two?! You two actually have a martial soul fusion skill?!"

Ali laughed out loud as he nodded with a wink :"yup! And I'm telling you, it's seriously powerful. It's a nightmare to go against."

Huo Wu sighed helplessly as she rubbed her temples :"you both are level 50 soul kings with all century millennium soul rings, and you're telling me that you actually have a martial soul fusion skill between yourselves?

Sigh, yeah, it's not an overestimation to say that it will be a nightmare to go against. Whoever fights against your martial soul will definitely be traumatized..."

While Ali laughed, Zhuqing also chuckled as she nodded :"that's right, sister Wu. So you don't have to be worried since we both will be participating and will be using our martial soul fusion skill.

Ali nodded and Erlong hummed with curiosity :"yeah, and now that I think about it, I've never actually seen it.

There has never been a chance for you two to show it to me. So I'm really interested to see what this martial soul fusion skill will be like and how powerful it is!"

Ali nodded once again before he got up and raised an eyebrow at Huo Wu with a small grin :"by the way, why do you seem to care about our team so much, Huo Wu?"

Huo Wu blushed a little as she looked away :"w-well, I've already accepted to be your lover, so I should support you.

And since you have worked so hard to keep up this winning steak, it wouldn't be right for me to not tell you about your opponents."

They all smiled at the cute and embarrassed Huo Wu as Ali chuckled before bending slightly and kissing her cheek :"thank you then, my love. I'm happy to have such a supportive lover."

Huo Wu's face immediately turned as red as her hair. But unlike how Ali thought she would freak out and act angry, she lowered her head and nodded gently as she whispered out meekly :"you're welcome..."

Erlong and Zhuqing couldn't stop themselves from smiling as they both side hugged her :"you're so cute Huo Wu/sister Wu!"

Huo Wu blushed even harder as she lowered her head so they wouldn't see her. Even though she was a spoiled girl, she had never been in a relationship, so it was normal to get so shy and bashful.

Ali chuckled and fondly patted her head :"don't be so shy, Huo Wu. But it's okay, you will get used to it.

After all, I'm not someone who hides his feelings, and neither are Erlong and Zhuqing. So you have to get used to kissing and cuddling.

Because we expect you to become like us in the future as well. Alright, let's go back now so we won't be late."

And so, they returned to the Soul Arena after Ali paid for the clothes. Having a storage ring that could make an infinite number or amount of anything not alive was really handy.

When they returned and parted ways with Huo Wu who returned to her own team, they saw the Shrek members standing in the way with the members of the Tian Shui school some meters away from them.

The three went towards them and Ali nonchalantly waved at them :"yo, guys. What's up? You all ready for the fight?"

While Erlong returned to the room that the team discussed in, the members of Shrek started chatting.

However, the members of the all female Tian Shui team seemed like they couldn't take their eyes off of Ali.

One of the girls couldn't keep it in anymore as she sighed dreamily :"sigh~, just look at Tang Ali and Dai Mubai.

Both of them are just so freaking handsome! Especially Tang Ali! Even amongst the nobles that we have seen, he's the most handsome guy I have ever seen!"

Another beautiful girl teased her with a chuckle :"don't you be too obsessed with him to the point where you surrender the match.

But yeah, you're right. He's seriously too handsome. That Dai Mubai isn't bad at all either. However, I would personally rather date someone who doesn't have any other lovers, so I would choose Dai Mubai over him."

The first girl nodded as she looked at Dai Mubai again :"you're right, who knows if he will even look at me or not.

After all, he has so many beauties by his sides already. There's Liu Erlong who is nearly a titled douluo, that Zhu Zhuqing who is actually a level 50 soul king and with all century millennium soul rings like Tang Ali, and he got Huo Wu just a few days ago!"

Noticing how they were staring at him and Dai Mubai, Ali smirked as he nudged Dai Mubai next to him with his elbow :"yo, Mubai, check it out. Seems like somebody has a crush on you."

Before Dai Mubai could say anything, Zhuqing pinched Ali's waist with a warning glare :"baby, don't you DARE have any ideas."

Ali flinched as she chuckled helplessly :"don't worry, my love. I didn't have any, since none of them are my type and I already have enough. I was just trying to be a wingman for my buddy."

Zhuqing looked at his eyes for any lies, and seeing that she couldn't find any, she let go with a sigh :"I will believe you, so don't break my trust."

Dai Mubai chuckled as he glanced at the girl looking at him :"Well, she is a very beautiful girl, so I will be lucky to be able to date her."

Ma Hongjun sighed with slumped shoulders as he looked at Ali with desperation in his eyes :"Boss Ali, if you want to be a wingman, be my wingman! Boss Dai doesn't need help with that face of his, but I do!"

They all laughed as the members of Tian Shui school walked past them, with the first girl lingering behind for a moment to look at Dai Mubai.

Ali smiled teasingly as he nudged Dai Mubai once again :"seems like your chances are quite high, Mubai. You should definitely consider her."

Dai Mubai chuckled as he nodded :"yeah, she is a very beautiful girl, so it would be a waste if I didn't take the chance. I will search for her after we win the match and see if I can get a date with her or not."
