Gathering

Wang Yao turned the vehicle around and he found a very noticeable building in Lianshan. It was a tall building with 12 floors—Shenghua Hotel, the highest-class hotel in Lianshan.

When he found a place to park, he entered the hotel and found the room mentioned by Shen Yue. It was a large room and several round tables could serve 60 people at the same time. He saw that some people had come early when he entered the room with Tong Wei.

"Hey Wang Yao and Tong Wei came together . Is something going on between you ? " some people joked .

Tong Wei blushed and moved to girls side .

People came to say hello to him when he entered, and he replied with a smile.

"I thought you wouldn't come! I was going to call you." Shen Yue came to him with a smile. He was in a luxurious suit, so he was handsome and confident. Shen Yue father was a director of a bureau with great power and has a rich family . Today party was also sponsored by him.

"Come to our table?" Shen Yue asked.

"That's fine."

At that moment, there was a classmate coming into the room and Shen Yue went to say hello.

Wang Yao chose a seat near to the window and he talked with nearby classmates.

Time was fleeting.

"Have a cigarette," a 1.8-meter-tall man gave him a cigarette with a smile.

He remembered his name—Li Shugang. He had been always been very tall. He was always in the last row of the class. He was not good with words, though. He did not study hard in the beginning, but he tried his best in the second semester of senior year.

"You know that I don't smoke, how is your score." Wang Yao asked.

"I think I will be admitted in key universities " he grinned.

"Good for you " Wang Yao was happy for him .

"Hey! Man!" At that moment, there was someone yelling. Wang Yao looked and he found Shen Yue hugging a strong young man.

"He Hai," Li Shugang said.

He Hai had been a top student at the school. He not only had a good performance at school but he was very popular. He was more popular with girls than Wang Yao . He is also Wang Yao best friend in school.

It was almost 6 pm. Shen Yue looked around and all the classmates that he invited were here. As one of the organizers of the party, he stood up and said something enthusiastically. Although he did not study well as a student, he was a good speaker.

Wang Yao sighed. He did despise the affluent 2nd generation who show off , but he had to admit that there was something unique about them, which was their advantage.

Dishes of food were put on the table soon. They all looked so good and special since it was a big hotel. After that, Shen Yue raised the first cup of wine. The wine was good and most of them drank it all, but Wang Yao just drank Soft drinks.

After that, everybody started to eat and they talked with each other. The atmosphere had been activated with just one cup of wine.

"Why don't you drink wine?" Li Shugang next to Wang Yao asked him.

"I drove here so," He said with a smile. He has improved his body quality by exercising his Qi from 'Equilibrium' , but he has to follow the rule of this era he shouldn't drink and drive .

"Why don't you drink a little bit in the gathering?" Another classmate, Wu Maosen, suggested.

"No. I will have an upset stomach if I drink wine," Wang Yao said.

"Oh, forget it."

After exchanging greeting other friends He Hai came and sat beside me .

They talked about there time in school and other things , after today many people will not see each other again , some will keep contact with each other.

"I am joining military academy " He Hai said.

"Military? You wanted to study law, why military!?" Wang Yao asked.

"My father is in military, he said that joining military is very beneficial and my dad told me that border are not safe this days. Don't tell tell anyone but my father said that government may implement compulsory martial art practice. And who are talented in martial art will have great prospect in future." He hai said in low voice .

"Why are government emphasising on martial art, with cold weapons do we need martial artist?!" He asked.

"I don't know details, my father didn't tell me, he just that martial artist are more than you know. Why don't you join military academy with me ,." He Hai said.

"I am to study oriental medicine" Wang Yao said.

"A quack doctor " He Hai joked .

Not a quack doctor. A traditional Pharmacist." Wang Yao said he had headache now people didn't think much about traditional medicine.

"What do you do as a oriental doctor ?" asked He hai.

"acupuncture, diet, herbal therapy, meditation, physical exercise, and massage, brew decoctions,cure illness ."said Wang Yao.

"That sounds like a quack doctor!" said He Hai.

Well, Wang Yao didn't fancy the word "quack".

"Not a quack doctor." Wang Yao didn't know how to explain his friend.

He Hai laughed, he was only joking with his friend.

A classmate gathering was just this, asking about the exam score and talking about their future plans . Those who could work with each other would have further talks and drank much more. Wang Yao talked with He Hai for some time . Twenty minutes later, they left their seats to talk to some other friends.

"Tong Wei, how about the dishes tonight?"

He came to Tong Wei with a cup and asked. The room was very hot, so the beauty was as red as the clouds at sunrise and sunset. She was much more beautiful at this moment.

"They are tasty," Tong Wei said with a smile.
