Stargazing without stars

"Unbelievable!" Noah kept nagging all the way home. Besides Lucas, the three children were also scolded by Noah.

"I said I'm sorry." Lucas complained.

"You dare say it again!"

When they got home, the children were already looking sluggish. So Noah ordered them to go back to their house and rest.

Lucas followed Noah into the apartment while still listening to Noah's rage in silence.

"Can't believe you let those kids play along with you with the lure of prizes." Noah grumbled again.

Lucas let out a long sigh with a tired face. He didn't even know how many times Noah had repeated that sentence.

Noah rummaged through his wardrobe then grabbed a shirt and threw it at Lucas, landing on his head. "Go shower!"

Lucas lazily pulled the shirt off his head and walked towards the bathroom. "How fierce." Lucas muttered.

"What did you say?" Noah almost snapped.

"No no no. I didn't say anything." Lucas immediately ran to the bathroom and finished his activities as fast as a flash.

After he came out of the bathroom, Noah had prepared a portion of fried rice for him. "Eat this and soak the dishes after. I'm going to take a shower." Noah glared at him.

"Thanks." Lucas said. He enjoyed his supper slowly while waiting for Noah to finish. After eating, he obediently put the dishes in the kitchen sink and soaked it.

Lucas casually walked to the bed and lay down. He was about to check his cell phone but suddenly he jolted and sat down. "Am I staying the night again?" He asks himself.

At that moment Noah came out of the bathroom in a satisfied mood. Seeing Lucas sitting on the bed and staring at him in shock, he asked, "What's wrong with you? The fried rice isn't good?"

"It's not that." Lucas hesitated. "Am I staying the night?"

"You are not? I thought you were. Then you can go home as you please." Noah said.

"No. I'm staying. I was just asking." Lucas hastily answered. 'This is terrible! I'm unconsciously getting more and more comfortable around him day by day.' thought Lucas.

"That's good. I was given two cans of beer by the uncle next to our stall. I was thinking of having a drink tonight, would you like to come?"

"You are not mad anymore?" Lucas asked carefully.

Noah sighed. "I don't want to talk about it anymore. I have done enough with the nagging stuff."

Lucas was instantly relieved.

"Let's go to the rooftop." Noah put down his towel at the clothes stack and walked to the table to pick up a plastic bag with beer inside it.

Lucas got up from the bed. "Right away."

Noah put the beer on the wooden table. He cleared a long bench for Lucas and himself to sit on. "Fortunately the floor was dry."

"Gazebo? You built this?" Lucas asked.

"No. It's been there from the start. I asked the neighbors, they told me no one is using it so I can store my stuff here. Sit here."

Lucas sat down next to Noah. He took a beer out of a plastic bag and offered it to Noah.

"Is two cans enough? I can go buy more at the convenience store if you want."

"No. It would be more than enough for me." Noah leaned back on the bench and looked up at the sky. "No stars today."

"There are rarely stars if it rains often. You like them?" Lucas asked as he opened a can of beer and drank it.

"Not really. It just reminds me of when I used to go camping in the forest with my team. Every night we sleep looking up at the sky."

"Oh? The team from where you work? Does our company have such activities?" Lucas asked confusedly.

"No. That was before I joined your company." Noah answered.

"I see. So what do you guys usually do when you're camping? You must be good at pitching a tent."

"We don't use tents. We only sleep with sleeping bags, since it's hard to move around if we have to carry too many things."

Lucas chuckled. "Did you guys just go there to sleep in your sleeping bag and stare at the sky?"

"We're hunting." Noah said flatly.

Lucas widened his eyes. "Hunting what?"

"Usually bears or boars." Noah answered.

"With guns?" Lucas asked again.

"No. We mostly use sharp weapons or go bare handed. Firearms are too loud." Noah finished his beer in one gulp.

Lucas looked at him in shock. 'That's not camping, man! That's hunting.' thought Lucas.

"You..." Just as Lucas was about to say something, he suddenly heard a loud crash beside him. He turned his head and found Noah lying on the table.

"Did he just faint and slam his face onto the table?" Lucas poked at Noah with his index finger. "Noah. Are you alright?"

Moments later, Noah remains unresponsive. Seeing that, Lucas couldn't do anything and sighed.

"It turns out you are a total lightweight. That's why you say it would be more than enough."

Now it was Lucas' turn to lean back, drinking beer and looking up at the sky.

"It's really pitch black."

He had finished his beer but Noah was still unconscious. He brought his face closer to Noah and whispered to him. "Noah. When will you wake up? If you still haven't woken up, I'll have to lift you up like a princess to return to your apartment."

Lucas was half joking when he said that but it probably really surprised Noah that he opened his eyes so suddenly. Shocking Lucas so much that he almost fell off the chair.

He was trying to balance himself when Noah got up from the table and sat up straight.

"You. You are awake?" Lucas asked carefully.

Noah looked directly at Lucas but didn't say anything, just kept staring.

"Why are you staring? Are you mad?" Lucas asked.

Still no answer from Noah. Lucas tried to wave his hand at Noah, and he didn't even blink.

Lucas laughed at him. "Are you still drunk?" But Noah suddenly frowned when he saw Lucas laughing.

Noah reached his hand towards Lucas and held the back of his head. Which makes Lucas flinch. "What are you doing?"

Lucas was pulled closer to Noah's face. They were so close that their noses were almost touched. Lucas tried to back away but Noah's grip was too strong.

"Let go now! Otherwise I'll kiss you. I'm not kidding." Lucas threatened.

"Kiss?" Noah finally uttered a word. But before Lucas could understand the meaning, Noah had kissed Lucas.

Lucas was speechless as Noah devoured his lips. Being forcefully stimulated by repeated kisses from Noah, Lucas eventually gave in and kissed him back.

It all seemed like a dream come true to Lucas for a few seconds until Noah suddenly fell into deep sleep again while hugging Lucas, leaving him speechless.

"You really are good at pitching a tent." Lucas spoke in annoyance while staring at his pants. He is having an erection that shows through the pants.

"You're lucky, I'm not a sex-crazed bastard." Lucas talks to unconscious Noah.

Lucas picked up Noah and carried him back into the apartment. Laid him down and went to the bathroom to take care of his member.

The next day

"Don't push me. I'm just trying to wake Noah." Michael whispered to Emma and Andrew. Emma and Andrew were standing behind Michael as they approached the sleeping Noah and Lucas.

It was morning when the kids visited Noah to eat breakfast there but apparently Noah wasn't awake when they arrived so they tried to wake Noah up.

As Michael was almost at the side of the bed, his feet tripped and the three of them ended up falling onto the feet of the sleeping adult.

They both wake up. And the first thing they saw was that they were embracing each other on a narrow mattress.
