20 Bo Wan

Ethan Han did not comment. For a moment, the room got filled with the suffocating mixed smell of food and smoke. After finishing smoking, Ethan Han threw away the thing on the floor and stood up. 

"It must not be what I am thinking. You can't afford the consequences." He said gravely and exited the room, leaving Van Alroy behind. 

'I know.' Van Alroy looked down on the clear apple juice. He was visibly sad and frustrated. He gulped down the juice angrily and cursed aloud, "F*CK! I need to hear someone!" 

Thus Mu Yuexin saw them leaving one after another. However, watching Ethan Han without his jacket, she frowned, 'Did not the manager return it?'

…

"Bo Wan, look!" The manager rushed towards the waiter who was coming back with a trolley filled with various foods. Some of them were touched while some were untouched. 

Bo Wan turned to the man with a huge smile and said cheerfully as she walked to him but kept a considerate distance between themselves. 

"Hu Gege~" The girl called out so cutely that the manager's heart trembled.

"Bo Wan, is your heart better?" The manager asked as he directly hugged her. Bo Wan stiffened but in the end, hugged him back. 

"Yes, I am much better now." 

Only after she replied did he free her. Watching the jacket he was wearing, Bo Wan's eyes lit up. As the Manager, she also recognized the internationally famous brand. 

"I just bought it yesterday. How do I look in it?" He asked cheekily. 

"Gege looks handsome in everything." Bo Wan replied. The man was satisfied by her reply. 

Mu Yuexin who was pushing another trolley, stopped when she spotted two figures kissing in the middle of the corridor. She waited for five minutes and still those people were at it. 

She could not delay any longer and intentionally made noises, "Cough! Cough! This trolly is so heavy~"

"..." Bo Wan

Both of them stiffened while Mu Yuexin passed by them. The dragging sound of the trolley was loud enough to ring inside their heads at that moment. Bo Wan who was still Mu Yuexin's roommate since yesterday was surprised to find her here. 

Mu Yuexin also stopped for a brief moment when she spotted Bo Wan behind the manager. But quickly she left the area lest that man would deduct her money again. 

"This new chick has big guts!" The Manager said with suppressed anger. Only then did Bo Wan realize that the new waiter who did overtime for her yesterday was none other than this Mu Yuexin. 

Instantly she felt uneasy while remembering what she and that other girl had done to Mu Yuexin's clothes. 

'I did not know we work on the same floor! Did she find out?!' Bo Wan was worried but she had to keep it in the back of her mind because suddenly a door of a private dining room opened suddenly. 

A man suddenly walked out and saw them. 

"I have been waiting for nearly 30 minutes. Is that how you do your job?!" 

"Ah, sorry sir." Bo Wan hurriedly apologized and walked to that room with the trolly and entered. 

The manager went back to oversee the kitchen while thinking, 'She must have realized that I am rich! Hoho~'

After the working time was over, Mu Yuexin left the restaurant in the least time possible and ran for the nearest bus stop. But suddenly someone grabbed her from behind. 

"Ah, Bo Wan, it's you." Mu Yuexin asked as she saw the person who stopped her was her former classmate and roommate.

Bo Wan nodded as she inquired happily, "Have you found a suitable place to live yet? If you want, you can stay with me. I have a spare room!"

"Thanks but I am fine." Mu Yuexin replied and then added, "Well, I will have to leave right now or I else I will miss the bus, see you later!"

But before she could leave yet Bo Wan caught her arm and when she turned around with an inquiring gaze she replied timidly, "Can you forget what you have seen today?!"

'Is that even worth remembering?' Mu Yuexin smirked and hid her thoughts. She patted her shoulder with a reassuring gaze, "You can believe in me." 

Bo Wan smiled, "Let me treat you to a meal."

"Ah, why would you?" Mu Yuexin suddenly asked. 

But before Bo Wan could reply, they heard a loud honking sound. As they turned around towards the road, they saw a red expensive car, Li Yi's head come out through the open window and she shouted at Mu Yuexin, "Yuexin, hurry up!"

"Li Yi!" Mu Yuexin was overjoyed when she saw Li Yi and Li Feng and said to Bo Wan, "Have to go, tata!" 

Bo Wan's eyes lit up after watching Li Feng in his office suit. Subconsciously she followed Mu Yuexin and walked to the car. Li Yi opened the door of the back seat for Mu Yuexin and asked, "Have you eaten yet?" 

"Not yet." Mu Yuexin replied. 

"Li Feng, go to the seaside restaurant." Li Yi said while closing the door and nodded at Bo Wan. 

"Alright." Li Feng answered. 

Bo Wan's eyes lit up. She held a moderate smile and says while looking at Li Feng, "I did not have dinner too. Can I tag along?... Please." 

Knowing that she was one of the roommates of Li Yi and Mu Yuexin, Li Feng nearly said yes but Li Yi suddenly butted in. 

"The car is overcrowded with my stuff. Next time then, See ya~" 

Right after all the windows of the car went up and it drove away. Bo Wan stomped on the ground while gritting her teeth, 'I am your classmate too! Why can't you treat me like that orphan!'

...

"Li Yi, that was rude." Li Feng chided her earlier behavior when he stopped before a red light.

"Humph! So what!" Li Yi said cockily.
