Chapter 16

As the conversation between Ireti and Doctor Kunle continued, his name was announced by the hospital's receptionist, that he was being asked for.

"Aww. Do you really have to go now?"

"I believe so, since I have had to beg another doctor colleague of mine to cover for me. I guess, it's time to go back to work"

"But, please don't take too long Kunle"

"I promise I won't"

"I trust your promises" And with that, Kunle kissed Ireti on her cheek and walked away, leaving Ireti to stare behind him as he moved.

When Doctor Kunle reached the reception area, he asked the receptionist if anything was the matter.

"I'm not so sure Doc, but these officers behind you are asking to speak with you."

"Why?" Doctor Kunle asked looking a little worried. He feared that they had finally come to ask Ireti questions about her husband.
