She didn't know her way into the castle yet she was determined to find those mooncakes as they were her goal at the moment. The paintings caught her attention in the dark and she was fascinated.
After Olympia separated from her parents once again, Patrick and Luana walked into the ballroom and met Mrs. Jonas.
"Wow! I have been looking for you two all night" Mrs. Jonas smiled.
Patrick and Luana looked at each other nervously then back at Mrs. Jonas with a forced smile.
"We had some work to do, by the way, Olympia told us that she met you" Luana diverted Mrs. Jonas's attention.
"Oh yes, such a fun child, she is purely beautiful and has caught everyone's attention in the ballroom," She leaned closer to them. "She danced with a strange man who wore a full mask, the power that oozed from him even though no one could go close to him, I think that he was the king"
Patrick and Luana looked at each other in shock then laughed nervously at Mrs. Jonas. "We have to go, we are going back to the mansion soon" Patrick informed.
"So soon? Is something wrong?" Mrs. Jonas asked curiously.
"No, no it's nothing, we are just tired" Denied Patrick. Patrick and Luana walked away from her sight into the crowd and then stayed at a side where only a few people were.
"Do you think she will be alright?" Asked Luana wearing a troubled expression.
Patrick frowned, "It doesn't matter anymore, he won't hurt her, and only the gods know how he knows that she wanted to eat mooncakes so badly tonight. He threatened us that we must allow her to eat them before she leaves here"
"Why are you acting like this? She is our daughter, your daughter" Luana shook her head as she spoke those words with a tightened voice and tone.
"None of that matters, she will be out of our lives and there will be no trouble and we will be related to the royal family" Patrick grinned greedily while Luana stared at him with disbelief.
.
Mystic walked out of the ballroom seeing Asher with a woman. Asher placed his hands on the woman's waist and pulled her close to him. His eyes were now hazel-brown to deceive the woman that he was a human who just wanted her in bed.
Sighting Mystic, Asher wrapped his arms around the woman so that she wouldn't see Mystic's eyes. He was the type that would never change his eyes for anyone unless he wanted to.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself Asher" Asher smirked and stroked the giggling woman's hair gently.
"Yes, and you seem happy" Asher's eyes flashed with blood red.
"You can say that by the way I am going for a stroll" Mystic looked left and tilted his head to the side.
Asher realized what was happening. He let the woman go, whispered something in her ear, and instantly his hazel brown eyes turned blood red. She gasped in shock, placed her on her chest, and ran away.
"It's a shame, you let her go"
"I will get her back, I just have to inform you of something important," Asher smiled. Mystic stood impatiently. Asher recognized him, his amazing physique, long hair that was packed as a ponytail, and most especially his silver mask.
"Roland, he sent a letter to Ivan, who gave it to me, to give it to you," He told and removed a letter from his pocket. He placed it back in his pocket knowing the being in front of him wouldn't read it.
"He said Derek threatened him and he wouldn't take it likely" Continued Asher. "He added that he is going to attack you in an unexpected way tonight"
"Pitiful pest, I will deal with him later but now, I have to feed a certain bird" Mystic's dark eyes darkened and glimmered in such an unexplainable way.
"He seems so serious about her," Asher thought.
"But you aren't ignoring him? You know he just wants glory from everyone that he attacked you, met you, and all those praises" Asher knew that Mystic was the type who killed so many as a daily meal just like he drank blood. The being behind that mask was who everyone feared, Asher wasn't used to people not bowing to him especially as they walked past him unable to recognize him since he was wearing a mask.
"Poor insect just needs attention which he will receive soon, it's not a big deal, it's just to smash him between my fingers but sigh, I can't dirty my fingers," Mystic placed his hand on Asher's shoulder and whispered, "Find my ax I miss it already"
Asher nodded, Mystic was satisfied and removed his hand off his shoulder. "I don't want to stop you from your meal Asher and after all this, tell Derek to meet me in the garden"
Hearing that, Asher felt a chill down his spine. "It's not serious, you don't have to summon him,"
"Tsk. I won't hurt him,"
Asher blinked rapidly, that wasn't what he was afraid of. Mystic never hurts him, instead, he does something worse than inflicting physical pain on Derek. Just as Asher wanted to say another word, "Go have your meal, I will go feed my hungry bird" Mystic uttered calmly and walked away.
Asher turned away and faced the hallway the woman he let go of followed earlier. His eyes turned back to their blood-red form.

Olympia had gotten distracted from her mooncakes mission. She was staring at a particular huge painting which the moon reflected on the most. She was intrigued by its beauty, and how it looked new.
"It must have been painted recently," She smiled.
She walked down the large hallway hoping to sight someone or a kitchen but then she soon realized that she was lost. She gave up, walked to the side of the hallway, and balanced her back against the cold wall.
"Why can't I find a maid or a kitchen? I am already tired and I have lost my appetite"
She pouted her lips and slowly removed her mask. Her beautiful face exposed disappointment.
Unknown to her, a certain being had been following her holding a tray of mooncakes. The only thing visible in the dark was his uniquely dark eyes that almost blended with the dark.
Mystic stopped as he saw that Olympia had given up and had balanced her back against the wall.
Hearing her words, "Why can't I find the maid or a kitchen? I am already tired and I have lost my appetite" He couldn't help but smile behind his mask.
His eyes glimmered and darkened even more immediately after she removed her mask exposing her full face once again.
Olympia wore her mask again, moved away from the wall, and decided to go back to her parents. Looking around, she realized that she didn't know where to turn since the hall had different passages that she had followed unknowingly since she was engrossed with the paintings.
"You seem to be looking for something, future wife?" A deep familiar voice suddenly spoke behind her.
Olympia was stunned and angry. She turned to see uniquely dark eyes glowing in the dark while she was where the moon reflected the most.
"I told you not to call me that and why are you following me?" Asked Olympia angrily.
"What are you looking for, future wife? You also seem disappointed"
Olympia frowned and clenched her fists. She didn't understand this man, was he deaf or something? She didn't want to marry him and she didn't like him calling her future wife, she had told him all this yet he hadn't gotten anything in his head.
"You are a real stalker, you were stalking me right from the beginning, that's why you want to marry me right?" She asked angrily.
"I have never believed that you would spout out nonsense" Mystic spoke as if she was telling a joke and it provoked Olympia.
"What are you doing here?" Mystic chuckled at her question knowing that if she were another she wouldn't dare to ask him that with shaking and stammering.
He looked at his side, sighting a small table, he appeared there and placed the tray of mooncakes then stepped out of the dark and into the little light of the moon where the golden phoenix was.
Her emerald eyes widened in shock as he walked toward her. She didn't know that she was moving away from him until her back met the cold wall once again. She reacted by gasping and looking up into those uniquely dark eyes.
"What are you doing?" She asked angrily. She succeeded in hiding that she was scared of the man. She had heard so many bad and scary things about him.
"Coming close to my future wife"
Hearing that, Olympia snapped. She moved to run but he placed one hand on the wall next to her. "Stay away!" She yelled in anger and moved to the other side but he placed his other hand on the wall and blocked her.
Olympia froze and looked up at those dark eyes which were glimmering darkly.
"What are you doing? I will scream" Mystic chuckled at her utterance.
"You think someone can save you from me? Are you a damsel in distress?"
With a scoff, she replied "With me, there is no such thing as a damsel in distress"
