Chapter 5: The tree of life

Lunar would finally get used to her magic. She has heard of a really large tree with a powerful biome entity known as the Auratic. She heard that many banshees exist there and would possess people. This sounds scary until you realize there was a spell cast preventing any involuntary coercion. The banshees had to find willing hosts. If she could find a good one coexisting with her, maybe great power lies ahead. She would travel to the tree.

The tree is very large with many rooms inside. Many people live there, mostly people known as the mirage. Their bodies pop in and out of existence, making them look ghostly. They also have a trick called killaura, which basically lets them touch things at a distance. How did the trick get its name? It was from a time long ago when it was much less peaceful. Regardless, Lunar would go there. Most banshees would weave complex magic. However, one Banshee is special, Fayria, unlike most, is dedicated to making simple magic as efficient as possible. What caught Lunar's attention is the mana gate, which is a magical energy gate that turns on and off with mana. With a bit of tinkering, Lunar managed to get it very small. Most believe in complex magic, then she declared...

Simple magic is completely winning.

She would meet Fayria and soon after, the bond would be formed. Fayria would take Lunar's body and together, adventures would await them. Lunar would also volunteer to negotiate as a diplomat between the Tree of Life and other towns.

She would then teach Fayria the principles of building computers and start building them. They would spend lots of time gathering materials and making them smaller. Banshees have pocket dimensions that allow time to tick faster inside, in which Lunar takes full advantage of that. Moreover, Fayria would be an adept partner. Soon, Lunar would build a functioning computer and made some video games, which surprised the entire tree of life.

Lunar's dream is starting to materialize.
