SLEEPING OLIVER

Noah was walking to the palace for the first time in a decade to find Oliver so that he can plan something to get Lia out of there. He doesn't know if he should trust Lia and help her but it seemed worth it. Lia was the Luna so she would never make false promises and there was no one who told to help him in getting out of the realm.

"By mistake?"

Noah jerked hearing the sudden voice from behind making him lose balance. He pressed his hands on chest as he took deep breaths to control his heart beat. Noah turned back to face the boy dramatically with a hair flip and hip swing. He scanned the boy in front of him with eyes running from head to toes as he chewed his lips slowly.

"Nope, I came to spend some quality time with you."

"With me? And not with your cat?" Oliver asked slightly confused.

"No no, with you. I want to appreciate everything that you have been doing for us since a long time. Cheers to your last days of Omega." Noah bowed as he pulled the boy along with him.

"Okay, this seems a bit suspicious." Oliver muttered while letting the boy pull him away.

"Where is your drinks?" Noah asked ruffling through the drawers and cup boards.

"You want to drink with me and that too in the morning before the day of my coronation? Why do I get bad vibes about this?"

"You are overthinking, aren't you? This is Noah and not those stupid greedy ones there." Noah snorted as he finally got hold of one bottle of champagne.

"That is why I am confused. You have never come here even to see me and suddenly you are here to have a drink with me. Did Kristen sent you here?

"Uh? Kristen is not even in the scene but why did you ask? Did something happen between you both?" Noah asked trying to open the champagne.

"No no, not like that." Oliver panicked seeing the boy pulling away the cork with full force.

"Yeassssss." Noah cheered as soon the cork shot from the bottle and causing the fizzy drink to flow out.

"Ughh." Oliver groaned as he tried to breath... totally bathed in the drink.... his dress and hair soaked.

"Oops-"

"I must have known you are here for being a trouble but never mind." Oliver wiped his face on the hem of his shirt and pulled the bottle away from the pouting boy.

"Gimme, I will pour." Noah jumped in tiny but Oliver just flicked his forehead and started serving on his own.

"Whooosh, look there is a crow with rainbow wings." Noah said pointing at the window pane behind Oliver.

"What?" Oliver huffed turning back to face the window.

"Oops-, flew away." Noah chuckled hesitantly.

"I don't expect you to be normal so that is fine. By the way, are you planning to join the training session or going to waste your time as usual running behind that cat?"

"Lego." Noah corrected as he hates when anyone talks low of his cat.

"Whatever, your mother is worried about you and once I become Alpha, you won't be able to mess around like always. I will make sure to have you take the sessions regularly just like everyone else." Oliver warned the boy like a senior officer do to their armature.

"Of course."

"As if you are going to be an Alpha tomorrow." Noah chuckled softly thinking how things are gonna turn around.

"Another round?" Oliver asked finishing his drink in one chug.

"S-sure." Noah stuttered as he was too bad at drinking alcohol but to give company he had to drink along with him.

"Good, so what is the talk among omegas there about this whole function and Lia's punishment?" Oliver asked taking the second step of drinks.

"Lia? Who?" Noah asked slightly tilting his head as he received the second glass of drink from him.

"My Luna... she is in cell. Oh, how would you even know when all your interest is on the cat?" Oliver chuckled as he placed his legs over the table while swirling the glass slowly.

"Hmm, why was she punished?"

"She asked me to... no she forced me to use the forbidden spell on the pack and I refused it so the King ordered to put her in cell."

"How evil?' Noah sighed but he wanted to smack Oliver for lying to him.

"Yup, too evil and I won't let anything bad happen to the pack when I am alive." Oliver said placing the glass back to the table before bowing down to adjust his shoes.

'Pheww." Noah sighed in relief as he got another chance to pour the powder into the drink.

Oliver and Noah continued to have the drinks one after another without talking much. Noah was holding onto his last string because the drink was making him totally dizzy and he was at the verge of passing out even before Oliver. He gritted his teeth noticing how slow the medicine was working on Oliver.

"I am dead." Oliver hiccupped drowsily keeping the glass back to the table.

"No no, you are just sleepy. I will take you to bed." Noah whispered while dragging himself up from the chair.

It took him few minutes to finally get up on his feet but he still kept clinging on the arm rest of the chair. Oliver was fast sleep, his lips partly agape and uneven breaths coming out, his forehead filled with sweat beads. Noah cussed and hissed while trying his best to pull the heavy body from the chair. The few steps from chair to the bed felt like kilometers to him but he somehow managed it.

"Thankyou for being heavy, I am not drunk anymore." Noah scoffed while stretching his hands and neck to kill the muscle cramps.

He smiled cheekily looking at the totally dead sleeping boy and jumped out of the window turning to his wolf form which he hasn't used since years. It felt really odd to him but his wolf form is really not seen by a lot of them in the pack which would keep him out of suspicion.
