Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival where a sister ties a rakhi to her brother's wrist and prays for his well being.. in return, the brother protects us and showers her with gifts.

So, In Nuri's case, Ariket too tied a rakhi to her every year quoting "You also protect me always"
