"Alex, take Susan back to your room. She looks tired."
I heard mom's voice and pulled myself out of the beauty trap of my kitten.
Nodding at her, I swept Susan off her feet and started walking, taking her in a bridal style.
"What are you doing? Let me down."
She gave me an angry glare that looked nothing like a glare. Her lips formed a cute pout with her nose scrunched up.
Not giving her any answer, I kept on walking. It took me 15 minutes to reach the mansion.
Entering my room, I closed the door with my leg and placed Susan on the bed. I gulped audibly when our eyes clashed for an instant. I couldn't break eye contact. Her brown orbs that held so many questions started shooting them on me.
I don't want to answer those questions now. I...I...am not prepared for her reaction.
Before I could get away from her, she held my elbow and made me turn around. I wasn't ready for it and so fell on top of her while she laid flat on her back on the bed.
