A Happy News!

Normally a patient came out of the anaesthetic effect slowly. But Shi Ai's eyes snapped open and her body jerked forward. She clutched at her stomach wildly looking around. Before she could have a panic attack, Ah Hai was at her side and a straw was placed near her dry lips. Licking them, Shi Ai carefully looked up at Ah Hai and sipped water from the straw.

Carefully, she clutched her abdomen and looked down. In a small voice she asked,"What happened?"

Patting her head, Ah Hai explained how her appendix had to be taken out. Still continuing to look down, Shi Ai muttered a small,"Oh."

Smiling, Ah Hai put a hand under her chin and made her look up at him and raised an eyebrow at her. His eyes clearly asked her what she was sad about?
