Chapter 2

Madam Linda travelled to her hometown to visit her family and friends because it's as been long since she visited them.She stayed in her hometown for some months then decide to return to Burton's Mansion since she is the head maid and she can't just abandon her duty.

It took madam Linda seven days to journey back to the Burton's mansion.Madam Linda arrived the day the Burton's are celebrating their anniversary.

She was so happy to be back there,and her happiness multiple when she noticed she came back at the right time.She was so full of joy and she suddenly became worried when she noticed Annalise wasn't present there.

She search every nooks and crannies but couldn't find her.

She then decide to go up to her room where she found her crying all day long with her sore red eyes.

Jasmine, one of the closet maid to madam Linda. she is a young lady in is twenties with a pair of glasses stock to her eyes. She is very loyal to madam Linda.Madam Linda told the maid to prepare a hot bath for Annalise and to also clean and redecorate the room before Annalise finish taking her bath,so she can join the celebration going on down stairs.

The maids were busy cleaning, dusting and wiping and mopping as jasmine was directing them on what to clean and what to dispose.

The room was repainted blue and the curtains, pillow cases and bed were all dressed and decorated in white.The cupboard and the dress in it were also changed. Everything in that room was either painted blue or white with no other colors interfering. The room looks stunning with the matching blue and white color. The windows were sparkling, curtains neatly placed and ironed, with the giant bed neatly placed and balanced. The room was transform from its original

self to a total different room.

Annalise steps out of the bathtub,she was dried up with a towel by the maids and dressed in a bathrobe.she heads to her room which has totally been changed from what it once looks like to a total new look.

Anna entered her room and was wowed by the sudden transformation of her room, the pleasant smells, new clothes and jewelries all prepared by madam Linda.

Jasmine entered Anna's room with a dress specially prepared by madam Linda to Annalise for the celebration on her hand.She bowed as she stretch forth the dress to Anna.

Annalise was dressed up in a white sheer, lightweight plain woven fabric made from twisted yarn that gives a slightly rough feel.The long straight dress gives her a curvy shape.

Jasmine sat Anna down in front of a mirror,as she took a brush and a gel.She massage her hair and comb it down gently as she spray them with different kind of hair fragrance giving her hair a kind of pleasant smell. Jasmine gently rolled her straight long hair into a wavy style and added a gel to it.

Another maid was busy painting her nails with a red nail polish.

Mr Burton finished introducing her daughters then he scoffs! it's time to introduce the high guests in our midsts,He announced.

Mr Burton announced and called out the Martin's family and they were thunderously applauded as they were coming out with his son standing at his right hand side,dressed in a peak lapel suit with his black tie neatly knotted and paring his dressing with a black half brogue shoes.

The Martin's are very wealthy and important and they are also respected by some many people.Mr Martin was dressed in a notch suit with a bow tie stocked to his neck.

The Martin's only has a son,the one and only heir of Martin's mansion and business properties.

Dave Martin is a young man in his thirties.He started handling his father business at the age of eighteen because he was strictly train by his father on how to handle business and contract,so he wasn't able to get married or get engaged to someone because all his time is been spent on how to handle his father business.

Mr Martin's brought his son to the Burton's mansion so as to relaxed his mind and His intentions his to find his son a beautiful girl whom he could get married to.

The audience clapped thunderously as Mr Martin gave out his little speech and his word of encouragement. Mr Martin's thank Mr Burton profusely for inviting him to the gathering and also for honouring him and his family.Mr Martin's cheers to the audience, raising his wine glass up to the audience.

Mr Burton walked up to Mr Martin's to specially introduce her daughter Carmella Burton to Dave Martin.The two family sat in a circle with a table at the center hosting and talking about their children.

I will like to engage my son Dave with your beautiful daughter, Mr Martin said to Mr Burton.

Mr Burton asked Carmella if she is willing to marry Dave, because he respect his daughter decision and does not to hurt his precious daughter feeling.

Yes I will"

Yes I will, Carmella said repeatedly.

Mr Burton was very happy by his daughter's decision.He looked at Dave and asked him the same question he asked his daughter,if he is willing to marry his daughter Carmella.

Hm! Dave smiled.

He faced his father and ask him for some hours to think and decide him.

Mr Martin gave his son thirty minutes to decide or else he will get them engage.

Carmella stood up from the gathering and walked up to Dave where he was sitting comfortably thinking about what to do. He doesn't want to marry someone he has no feeling for.

Hm hm Mr Burton chuckled"

She sat next to him, throwing him a big and seductive smile.

Madam Linda entered Anna's room to check if she's ready for the party and to also give her gift she bought when she travelled to her hometown.

madam Linda was very happy when she saw how beautiful she looks In the dress she gave her. And She gave her the gift she bought her when she travelled.
