" A maid will be assigned by your side from now on" he said politely..

"Ahhhh..There is no need for that" i replied trying to deny it but he instantly replied " It is Emperor's order.I have to follow it".

When I heard that i couldn't refuse it anymore...I nodded and said "umm..Okay"..

Then one maid comes forward.A blonde hair,fair pretty girl in her late 20's.

"Pleasure to serve you madam" she says bowing before me.

All these actions were so strange to me.I never had anyone bow before me like that.i didn't know how to react..."ummm..errr...Nice to meet you too..Ummm..." i replied trying to guess her name.

"It's Linda" she replied politely..

"Ahh Linda..That's a very good name." i replied trying not be get all awkward in front of them..

" You can ask her if there's anything you need" the butler reassured.

"ahh.. Sure thanks" i replied smiling..

"Then please have a good rest madam" saying this he bowed and left the room.The other maids left along with him leaving Linda behind.

I stood there awkward before Linda...I was fidgeting but Linda was very calm..I tried to start a conversation with her..

"Ahhhmmm..Linda...Can i ask you how old are you?"

" I am 26 madam" she replied.

"ahh..You're older to me.You don't need to be do formal with me" i said excitedly.

"But you're our young master's wife.We have to show some respect" she says tryng to maintain her polite form..

I didn't like someone calling me with that name.All this VIP treatment was not for me..

So i went up to her and got close to her ear and whispered.."What about just call me by my name when we're together and call me madam when we are outside..You can be comfortable with me when we are alone" i said playfully..

She looked at me and said.."are....are you sure?''

"Of course" i replied with excitement..

She gave me a glance and then gave out a longest sigh as if she's been keeping it all inside..

"pphhewwwwwwww....That was hard.." she sighed...

She was breathing heavily too.It looked like she just came out of a place where she didn't get any air..I kept staring at her in surprise..Just a while ago she looked very reserved but now she looked like a different person..I was in a state of shock..

Then she looks and me and smiles embarrassingly.."I'm sorry about this." she says while rubbing her head...."I am not used to this..I was recently recruited" she continued...

"Right!!!!!I am not used to this either!!!!" i replied with excitement...

Next minute we were both looking at each other smiling..I felt relief having her ...

"so why did you start working here ?" i asked her curiously..

"Ummm....Promise me you won't laugh at me" she said..

"Oh..Okay' i assured her..

"Umm...I..wanted to see the Royal Palace from up close, and the lifestyle here.It has always been my dream to live in the palace even though i had to become one of the servant i was ready.."she says avoiding eye contact with me.

"wow...That's...um....kinda unexpected" i replied..

"I know" she says faking a smile at me....

"but whatever it is...You're here now..so just enjoy it. " i said smiling at her..

She stares at me ....I suddenly stopped smiling and looked back at her....".....what is it" i asked..

"You're different...I thought i would have to serve an evil daughter in law of the emperor..But you're an amazing person." she says

"Ahhh..No way" i started blushing...

She smiles at me kindly...

"So..what would you like to do your highness" she continues.

"Hey i told you to drop the formalities " i insisted her..

"Okay okay...Well but i am serious..What would you love to do" she continues..

"Ummmm...well..I would love to have a look around the palace first" i replied smiling..

"Okay..Let's start the journey then!'' she replies excitedly...

The next minute we were going around the palace,adoring every corner of it..It's like i was exploring a museum with expensive looking artifacts all around..I was totally in awe..Linda first took me to the Palace Library..Where all kinds of books were kept..As i was an author myself i was really happy to see these books..

"wow".. i ,murmured..

Next we came to the dining hall where a very big table with several chairs were set...It looked like a buffet hall...

While walking along the hallway to the next room i was looking around too much that i didn't notice someone coming towards me and i rammed into that person.

"aahhh!" i yelled..

Standing before me was a tall handsome young man,with brown eyes and a sweet smell.He had a royal look..He had the kindest smile i ever saw.My eyes gleamed looking at this handsome man standing before me

I saw Linda behind me with her head bowed.

"Master" she blurted ..

"Master" i thought...

"You must be Valin's wife" he questioned..

"Umm..Ye..yeah.." i stuttered..

"Well hello there...Nice to meet you..I am so sorry i wasn't able to attend your wedding...I am Valin's older brother '' he says while slanting his head and giving a warm smile..

My heart was pounding looking at him.."Um..Hello..I'm Farie. Nice to meet you too" i felt my voice was shaking..My face was going red..

He sees it and comes up close to me and touches my forehead..His hands were very arm and soft..

"are you okay?Your face is red..Are you having a fever?" he asks in a concerned voice..

I flinched..That was uncalled for..

Ummm..Yeah i am fine" i murmured..

"That's a relief.." he said but his hands were still on my forehead.

Then suddenly from the other side of the hallway Valin appears and sees us in that condition....
