Farie gets drunk

Few minutes later we were both downstairs in the kitchen having our breakfast.....

"Later a maid will.come.to help with some house chores and to make dinner" Valin says...

"Aahhh .... Can you tell her to come in the evening?' i replied...

"Why?" he says...

I was wondering if i should be telling him that we have a party today where all the staffs will be present.. Remembering how he got angry last time i was still uncomfortable..

"Ummmm.... I'm meeting my friends today.... And i might have dinner out" i replied looking down at my bowl of cereal..

'"If you're eating out why does she needs to come?I asked for a maid so that she may help you.. Considering the mess you made last night,i couldn't stand by to watch it.." Valin says..

I lifted my head and looks at him..He seemed different.

"I don't want your mother to think I'm being a careless husband..I have to keep my face near her" Valin added...

Okay..

i was mistaken.. He's not doing this coz he cares but because he wants to play the goody husband near my mom..

😑😑😑😑😑😑....My face went blank... Yeah he can never be kind i thought..

After our breakfast,Valin goes to the room to get ready for work and i was cleaning the dishes l... While cleaning i kept thinking again about how good it would have been if i could have married someone i know and love..Valin was way to different from what i wanted in a guy... He's so hard to understand..

He's rude buy remembering how he took care of me last night, he seems to be very caring...

But again,i guess he head no choice ... Anyone would help if they see someone hurt like that...."Hhhhhaaaaaaaa" i sigh...

I heard Valin comes down from the room and leaves the house...

"Not even a goodbye!!" i said angrily...

I often see in movies how couples are after getting married.

Would kiss before sending off the husband to office, would hug them when he comes back..

Aarrghhhhhhj....Why am i even thinking about all that.. Ofcourse this only happens in movies....I got back to cleaning.

(That same evening).

I was on my way, driving to a restaurant where we were having the party..

There were already quite a few members ...Shane sees me coming in and waves.."Hey Farie .Come and sit here" he says..

I went towards him and sat next to him..

I wasn't really close with other staffs from the company, since Shane was my editor, i was more comfortable sitting next to him...

"Congratulations on completing a new book..." he says while.holding a glass of wine..

A waiter comes and puts down a glass for me as well..

"Thanks " i said ..

Shane then becomes serious.."Farie... Did you know your husband before getting married?"

I looked at him... His face was showing a concern look..

"Ummm..No...it was arranged by our family.." i replied... There was no reason for me to hide it..

Shane pauses for a while and continued.."Then....are you happy with this marriage?"...

"Yeah i am..Valin is a very loving husband" i said hesitantly... Ofcourse i wouldn't tell Shane about what's going on between us.

"Ah..Okay..." Shane replies..

"Well,if you have any problem, you can share it with me you know.. Even if im your editor don't forget that I'm your friend as well" he says smiling at me..

"Yes..Thanks Shane" i replied...He have been always kind to me... I felt assured there was someone who cares..How would it have been if i married Shane instead of Valin? He would have been an ideal husband for me.....

"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i suddenly froze...Wait!!! What am i even thinking...Am i going nuts??!!!!....I took the glass of wine and gulps it down.. I was blushing as well..

Shane saw my face went red and touches my forehead.."Do you have a fever?" he asks..

I jolted back , shocked to see him doing that... My heart was beating loud..

"Ahhhh...no.no....I guess it's because of the wine" i say pulling my face away from his hand...

"I see.. Don't push yourself." he replies ..

While he was busy talking with other staffs, i had few more drinks...I needed to distract myself ....I must have gone crazy staying with that stupid person ...

By the tike the party ended,i was drunk...

Shane comes to me and was surprised to see me like this..My head was down on the table..

"Farie!!I told you not to push yourself" he says and lifts me up..

"Let me drop you home..You can't even drive like this..."...Shane continued saying..

Valin was already home... He saw that I wasn't hack home yet so he calls me to know how late will i be..

Back here my phone rings...Shane lifts up my bag and takes out the phone..The number was saved as "Evil soul"...

"Huh?? Who's this? " Shane was confused but he receives the call...

Shane:-"Hello?"

Valin was shocked to hear a guy's voice..

Valin:-"Isn't this Farie's phone?Who are you?"..

Shane realises that it was Valin...

Shane:-"Aahhhh yes .. I'm her editor..Well you see we had an office party today and Farie seem to have drank quite alot..I will be dropping her back home. Can you tell me where your address is?"

Valin:-"You tell me where are you at..I will pick her up"....He was sounding angry..

Shane:-"Ahhh...yeah...We are in xxxxxxxx street xxxx hotel... "...

As soon as Valin got the address he hangs up the call..
