Jordan couldn't move when the plane he was on landed. All his muscles were stiff. His fist was clenched, and he felt cold.
"Well, Ace, my friend, come," said Logan, joining him.
He took a deep breath and gathered all his courage. Then he stood up and forced his feet to step out of the plane.
The moment his feet touched Spain's soil, he cringed. After nearly twelve years, he set foot again in the country he hated. The country he promised himself he would never go to.
But he had to break his promise to himself. He needed to see Lena. He doesn't want her to be separated from him. As the days went by without seeing the woman, he was afraid that she might never come back.
The need to see her was much stronger than his hate for this country.
Logan put his arm around him. "Are you ready? Come and let's find the hospital where Lena's father is. You probably know where it is."
