Please Be Like Her

Casey had a lot of nightmares and thought he was the expert in them by now but finding out his wife was pregnant was a whole new kind. One he didn't wake up from. His future looming ominously ahead of him instead of his past haunting him. 

The next time he saw his new therapist, who insisted he call him Sheldon, he unloaded everything he was feeling in a jumbled mess that he ultimately had to write out because he was stuttering too badly. He had been seeing both him and a new psychiatrist since moving here since he needed to keep up with his schizophrenia meds. Those were important. 

When he first came here he hadn't wanted to go over everything in extensive detail so he handed over the file Dr. Pratchett compiled both of Dr. Jamison's forensic report and everything they had discussed while Casey was in the hospital. Sheldon had been surprised by his thoroughness, to say the least.
