Need Help

"Sir, sir, you can't go in." The assistant runs after Kei and his men. "There is an ongoing meeting."

But her pleas fall on deaf ears. Matsumoto pushes the door open, surprising everyone in the room.

"What the hell…" Takaya yells, then his eyes fall on Kei. "Inchihara," he says through gritted teeth. "What is the meaning of this?"

"The meaning is that you're sitting in my chair." Kei shrugs.

"Have you gone mad?"

"As of two hours ago, I am the owner of 67% of the shares in Watanabe Corp." Kei turns to Matsumoto. "I should probably change the name."

"Yes, sir, that is a good idea." Matsumoto nods.

"What are you saying?" Takaya's eyes are almost bulging out. Then, his phone rings.

"You should get that." Kei smirks. "It sounds important."

Hana's uncle listens to the voice on the line. Color slowly leaves his face before he crashes on his chair.

"Now, dear esteemed board members, I have evidence proving Takaya Watanabe's shady business deals and corruption." Kei nods to Matsumoto, who starts distributing folders. "I think it is better to take care of these things as fast as possible, and I am sure you are all smart enough to understand where your best interests lie."

A few muffled voices are heard when the board members read some of the things in the folder presented to them.

"I move to fire Takaya Watanabe as chair and as a member of the board," Kei finally calls.

"You can't do this." Takaya shakes his head in disbelief.

"All in favor, raise your hand." Kei ignores him.

With little hesitation, the board members start raising their hands, one after the other.

"How dare you?" Takaya screams, his face a dark shade of red.

"It looks like it is unanimous," Kei comments, satisfied. "Thank you ladies and gentleman, this meeting is adjourned."

Everyone springs to their feet, shuffling their documents and hurrying to the door.

"Not you, Watanabe." Kei strides to the chair next to him and sits.

He waits patiently until the room is empty. Even his men leave, except for Matsumoto who stands by the door. Takaya gulps as he peeks at Kei's face.

"I know you're behind the fire." Kei's voice is smooth and calm. It does nothing to calm Takaya, though. If anything, he is even more agitated now.

"It…it wasn't me," he stutters.

Kei grins. "Is that so?"

"Yeah," Takaya says, with a more confident voice this time. "I have nothing to do with the fire."

The chair creaks as Kei sits back in it. He intertwines his fingers together as he watches the pathetic man sitting before him sweat. There is a long silence before he decides to speak.

"Are you familiar with Club Purple in Roppongi, Watanabe?" Kei asks.

Takaya's face pales. "I…I have heard of it."

"The owner is a good friend of mine," Kei continues, making Takaya shift in his seat. "He owed me a favor." He motions to Matsumoto who walks toward them and places a folder in front of Takaya. "Open it," Kei orders.

"What is this–"

"I was thinking of sending a similar folder to your wife."

Takaya's wide eyes scan over his naked photos while he was with the Club Purple girls. There are so many images.

"Maybe even leak it to the press," Kei adds.

"Not the press, please." Takaya looks at him with pleading eyes. "My children cannot learn of this."

"Oh, are you talking about the arrogant sons you are sending to expensive schools and using the money you are stealing to pay for them? I am going to destroy their lives as well." Kei places his elbows on the table and leans in. "I will take everything from you, Watanabe. You are lucky your house is in your wife's name, otherwise I would have thrown your whole family out."

"Please…have mercy," Takaya utters with a shaky voice.

"Mercy? Do you know how much I lost in that fire?" Kei spits. "Just come clean and tell me the truth."

Takaya fidgets with his fingers for a moment. "I…" He gulps. "I have no idea who it is, he only contacts me by phone," he confesses.

"He told you to start a fire in my warehouse and you just compiled?" Kei's patience is running out.

"Of course not. He offered me a lot; money, deals, information, he is very powerful and resourceful. Lately, I even heard that he got the Ravens to work for him."

'The Ravens?' Kei frowns. "Give me a name, Watanabe."

"I swear, I have no name. He never gives his name, and even his calls are always short."

Kei is pensive for a moment, then he pushes to his feet. "Take care of him, Matsumoto," he orders.

"Yes, sir."

"What do you mean 'take care of him'... Ichihara," Takaya calls as Kei walks away.

The situation has become quite dangerous pretty fast. The Ravens' involvement will only make things more difficult.

Kei walks toward his car with purpose. The only person who can help him now is his old friend, Daisuke. He was Kei's second when they had their own gang back in high school. Of course, Kei had to quit because of his family, especially after his grandfather found out. Daisuke, on the other hand, stayed. He is now the leader of the Kuroi Tora Gang, one of the biggest gangs in Tokyo. It is as powerful as the Ravens, if not stronger.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Daisuke." Kei squeezes his phone. "Looks like I need your help again."

"Of course," Daisuke says immediately. "Anything for you, Brother."
