Chapter 13

Elisa gets on the bus, her stop comes after two stops, she is sitting in a window seat. A woman dressed in elegant dress came over her and sat next to her at first she didn't notice the lady.But a strong smell of perfume was coming from that lady, Elisa felt it some familiar and turn her head toward that lady.

She looked at the woman who looks slightly older than her and her hair is shoulder length, noticing Elisa's gaze the woman also turned towards Elisa.

"Elisa, I have seen you in last year's company's anniversary party, am I right?", the woman speaks as she takes off her sunglasses and puts in her handbag. Elisa also knows who she is, so she slightly nodes her head," Yes, we have met there." In fact she have dropped this lady to her house in drunken stage,so, how could she forget, Elisa thinks in her mind.

"So, where are you heading right now?" the lady asks Elisa after some moment of hesitation.

"I am heading to office." Elisa replies to the lady.

"Oh, I am also going to the office of my son" she also give details of her destination as she starts to talk. " Where are you getting off?" the lady asks, " "Ah, I am going to get off on next stop", Elisa replies "what a coincidence, I am also getting off at next stop." the lady says as she gives a elegant smile.

Elisa wonders is her son from her company but doesn't asks her.

They both got off at the same stop but parted their ways one went to right side while the other went to the left.

Elisa and James presented their report to the directors and returned home at noon as they haven't slept at night they took a half day off and returned home. James took her to a restaurant as they both haven't eaten their lunch.

They both sat in the corner table and ordered their lunch they both talk about their work and their recent project. When Elisa went to washroom,.she was washing her hand she listened to other women who was talking on her phone."

"Yes,he finally proposed to me", Her eyes were glimmering as she was eyeing her ring on her ring finger as if it's the happiest day for her.

Elisa walked outside of washroom, There was a row of private rooms from the way to washroom, Elisa was walking in the passage where suddenly her footsteps stop as she was surprised, in front of Elisa there was Sameul who looked slightly drunken as his cheeks and ears were slightly red and his hair was little messy. Elisa wasn't only one whose foot has stopped but the man in front of her has also stopped. They both silently looked at each other, Sameu has worn a white t-shirt and black pants like he has also casually came here to have lunch with friends but why he looks as if he isn't sober. Elisa thinks internally.

Elisa gives a gentle smile, "Hello, Mr.Miller" but Sameul smirks as soon as Elisa finishes her words Sameul walks past Elisa and goes to the direction of washroom. Elisa stays still there then she also walks when she reaches the end of passage Elisa looks back at the staggering Sameul who was walking slowly with the help of wall Elisa has just taken a step towards Sameul her from behind a other person slightly touched her body and rushed towards Sameul.

The other person didn't even look at her and walked straight where Sameul was leaning on the wall.

Elisa didn't take a second to recognize the Adeleen and just turned her feet and walked to her table.

On the other side of restaurant, "Sameul what have you made yourself?, You should take care of yourself if you're sick, why didn't you went to hospital?" Adeleen asked Sameul but Sameul just walked passed her and walked toward the direction where Elisa has just gone.

Elisa saw from the table that Sameul was walking towards exit and Adeleen was following him.

Elisa's focus was on Sameul, she thinks that something was wrong with Sameul, Elisa suddenly stands up," What's wrong, Elisa?",

Sound of glass breaking comes, Everyone in the restaurant hears and looks at that way, Sameul who was just collided with a waiter who was carrying a tray full of juice glass staggers in his steps when he was about to fall, he leans against Adeleen,"I'm sorry, he is just feeling ill, I will pay for the losses," the waiter hasn't spoken a word when the manager comes,"Don't worry, Ms.Gracia" and gently straightened his hands as he directs his hand toward exit and gestures the waiter to carry the Sameul who seems to be unconscious but Adeleen raised her one hand as if she doesn't need him.
