"Roger?" Tau thought about this conversation. It had been weeks since her arrival and he wanted her. His longing grew with each passing day. Roger kept him busy, sending him on errands while he stayed at camp … errands that some of the soldiers could do. This made him furious because it was all stalling ways to distract him. His eagerness to please the man made no room for questioning him, but he wanted Sonia.
Roger glanced from the paperwork, a deep furrow between his eyes. "Yes Tau," he replied similarly and placed the paperwork on the table. Tau closed the office door.
"The woman: what will happen with her?"
"Sonia Main?"
"Yes."
"For now she is fulfilling her purpose."
"Will you ever send her back?"
"No, she is more valuable to me here."
This brought a smile to Tau's face, a smile he tried to hide underneath his nonchalant question.
"Are you giving her to someone as a wife?"
"Maybe, why?" and Roger's eyes narrowed.
"I want her, Roger. My body aches when I'm near her."
