"Wait! You have no right to go in there." A man held and pulled Sammy's shoulder. "I'm the one who has the right to go in there."

Sammy turns and stares at the man angrily. "Who are you?"

The situation at there is chaotic; Sammy and the man are fighting because the man insists on entering the delivery room.

"What do you think you're doing? No one here knows you," Sammy shoots a sharp glare at the man.

"No one knows me? Ask your girlfriend about that. Doesn't she recognize me?" The man replies with a smirk on his face.

Sammy furrows his brow, and the doctor present there immediately intervenes to stop their fight.

"Please don't make a disturbance here; the patient needs rest. And we're close to the baby's room, so please remain calm."

The man then ceases his attempt to enter the room, but before leaving, he says a message.

"Tell Ariana that her ex-boyfriend has just come to see their child," he said and then left.

"What do you mean, damn it? It's obvious that the child Ariana gave birth to is mine," Sammy retorted angrily at the man.

As it turned out, the man was Ariana's ex-boyfriend, Brian, the one who impregnated her and then left abruptly. Sammy couldn't fathom what was going on in the man's mind that made him come there, claiming he wanted to see the child he had abandoned.

Sammy then goes inside the room and approaches Ariana. Ariana, with a tired face, is holding the tiny baby. Sammy is overjoyed to see the scene and immediately kisses Ariana's forehead.

"He has beautiful eyes, just like yours," Sammy says.

"Thank you, he will probably look like you as he grows up," Ariana replies, momentarily trying to forget the fact that the child isn't Sammy's.

"I'll be looking forward to that moment." Sammy smiles and turns to look at the baby.

"Sammy, I hear some commotion outside. What's happening?" Ariana looks curious and glances towards the entrance of the labor room.

"Oh, it's nothing." Sammy shook his head gently and smiled.

Sammy tries to hide what had just happened. He doesn't want to make Ariana feels stres. Sammy thinks Brian might just be an idle person or someone sent by his business rival to disrupt the moment.

"Really? But it didn't sound like an ordinary situation. Are you sure nothing happened?" Ariana looked worried.

"Yes, I'm not lying."

After that, their life returned to normal, and now they are accompanied by a little baby whom they love dearly. After a few days in the hospital, Ariana and her baby were allowed to go home by the attending doctor. Sammy welcomed this with happiness and had already prepared everything in his mansion. There was nothing lacking for the two of them there.

Initially, nothing strange happened, Until at this day Sammy enters the baby's room and sees a piece of paper stuck to the window.

Sammy then walks closer and takes the paper. It had the same words as what Brian said to him at the hospital. Sammy glares and tears the paper angrily.

Sammy turns around and changes his facial expression in front of Ariana. He still wants to hide the recent events that have been disturbing his peace.

"It's nothing, why are you here?" Sammy changed the topic.

"It's nothing, I'm just worried about Sean." Ariana steps closer to the baby crib beside Sammy.

"Worried?" Sammy looks at Ariana puzzled.

"Yes, there was an intruder who entered the mansion's compound earlier." Ariana expresses her concern and immediately holds her baby. "Didn't you know?"

Sammy is taken aback.. It was just today that Sean, the baby born to Ariana had been brought to the house, and there had already been an unwanted incident.

"I'm really scared; I don't want anything bad to happen to this baby," Ariana said while hugging the baby in her arms.

"No need to worry; I'll take care of both of you. The security in the mansion has been tightened. I wasn't aware of what happened earlier because I was in this room." Sammy hugged Ariana.

"Luckily, Sean wasn't kidnapped. Could it be the work of your business rival? Or is there a baby kidnapping syndicate?"

"I think it might be the work of my business rival," Sammy claims. "Forget about it; we'll pack up, and I'll move you to my other mansion. It's safer there."

Ariana nods. Then, while the servants prepare their belongings before they depart, Sammy contacts his assistant to discuss the terror that attacked their house.

"Who is that man, actually?" Sammy speaks on the phone.

"He is Brian Evans. He is a businessman in the pharmaceuticals, stocks, and gold mining industries. He was previously rumored to have a relationship with an actress, but without any clarification, it was later declared as never happening."

Sammy nods, listening carefully to his assistant's explanation.

"Has there been any evidence or something that indicates Brian knows or had a relationship with my wife?" Sammy asks seriously.

Sammy intentionally didn't ask his wife about this; his love for Ariana was greater than his curiosity. So far, Sammy preferred to gather information on his own subordinate rather than asking his wife.

"So far, I haven't found anything related to that, Sir. I assume what Mr. Brian said was just empty talk."

The assistant's answer makes Sammy feel somewhat more assured, but he still wonders why Brian is so insistent about the child born to Ariana.

"Alright then, keep looking for as much information as possible. Focus on Brian's connection with Ariana, and also find out what that scoundrel might do to terrorize us," Sammy said.

The call was disconnected, and Sammy will hurry to take his wife to another one of his mansions. Sammy can't bear to leave his wife here even though security has been heightened.

"I just received this delivery from the hospital," the doctor said. "The contents of this document are your child's health examination history."

"Health examination?" Sammy looked puzzled.

"Yes, here's the blood type examination, bone condition check, lung condition check, and other notes about Master Sean's health. It's common for hospitals to do this to ensure you receive up-to-date information about your child's condition."

"Okay, thank you. You may go." Sammy takes the document from the doctor's hand.

After the doctor left, Sammy seems lost in thought.

"My blood type is AB, and Ariana's blood type is A. Most likely, Sean's blood type is A or AB."

Sammy then read the contents of the letter in the brown folder, and his eyes widened in surprise.
