The next morning,

Lin Rouxue was awakened by the sound of her phone ringing.

Sitting up, she saw the name on the screen and answered immediately

"I have only been gone for one day, and you already miss me..."

On the other side of the city, Ma Xuiying rolled her eyes and responded

"Yes, I miss you but thAts not i called you."

"Oh, so whats up"

"About that... I told my Dad to look out for any good paying job at the company,he said there is'nt any for now...but he also metioned something about a new company that just got registered recently and is looking for employees"

"Okay, so?"

"What fo you mean so?... Once you get back from your three days holiday, why don't you submit your CV amd see if you can get the job "

Lin Rouxue thought about it. It would really be great if she could get the job,but she was also thinking about the pay.

She eventually agreed

"Okay"

"Great...also once you are back you have alot of blind dates to attend to...mum said so"

"I'm not ready for another relationship...tell auntie I am not intersted"

"No way.Whether you like it or not you have to go" after saying that,she hung up

Lin Rouxue sighed and got out of her bed to freshen up.

After cleaning up and having her breakfast, she went to see her Grandfather in his room.

Entering the room, she marveled at the sight of the ancient carvings on the side of the bed stands.

Growing up, she had always liked touching and tracung the carvings with her little fingers.

"Rou'er?" She was brought back to reality after hearing her Grandfather call her name.

"Good morning Grandpa"

The old man reaplied with a simple 'hmm'

"Have you had breakfast" she asked as she went to help him to the couch in his room

"Yes"

She nodded silently at his reply.

"Grandpa...i have decided to get back my inheritance and my father's empire"

The man looked at her in suprise,he nodded

"It's about time. Thought you would never take you life serious"

Lin Rouxue: .....

She was speechless at the old man's blunt words.

Huo Baochen still looked unfazed by her reaction to his words

"But..for that to happen, you will have to marry into an influencial family.think about it carefully and come back when you have finally decided"

"Grandpa_" before she could say anything, he stood up.

Huo Baochen walked to the widows in the room, he looked outside at the flowers which made the dull backyard look colourful.

His usually sharp look became tender as he thought about his late daughter, she adored and loved dandelions, Even after she died he made sure the maids still planted dandelions in the backyard as it was the only way for him to reminisce about the good old days.

He sighed and walked back to his bed, opened the last drawer and brought out a brown paper bag and handed it to her.

He said

"Take this...your mother gave it to me incase anything happened.

There is a bank card in here, I don't know how much is in there.

She also mentioned something about her best friend Guo Suyin,I'll tell you about that later.

Take these for now and see what you can start with this "

Hearing her mother been mentioned, Lin Rouxue's eyes reddened as she sniffled. Although she was just five when her parents died, she could still remember how her mother looked like and how she would smile and call her nickname 'Rou'er' while she hugged and rained kisses on her face.

She cleaned her eyes while smiling

"Grandpa...i have thought about it carefully, i am readybto do anything to get back my fathers empire.

Just tell me what i need to do"

She clenched her fist in determination

Huo Baochen looked at her clenched fist and nodded his head secretly'thats good...just like her father'

"Go back to your room...i have something to show you later"

Lin Rouxue stood up and walked back to her room.

On her way back to the room, she kept thinking of what her grand father told her

When her phone rang pulling back to reality.

She checked and saw it was an unknown number and declined the call

Few seconds later the same person called back,

picking up the call, her face turned pale after hearing what the other party said.
