Chapter 2- Show off

They enjoyed their food while eating in the cafeteria. Zion looked at Xiao and asked, "how was it?" Xiao looked at Zion and said, "It's delicious, glad I listened to you." Zion then replied, "glad you like it."

The bell rang indicating lunch was over.

Shilo looked down at the table and said let's head to P.E! Xiao then looked to Shyla in front of her and said, "why is he excited for P.E", Shyla responded "that's because it's a sword, magic training, meaning he can watch Zion show off his skills" Xiao then asked Shyla "how strong is Zion?" Shyla responded, "I don't want to spoil it; I want to see your reaction."

Since they are using their powers, Zion informs the class that the next class will be held outside. Each class has a number and a letter. Class CE means celestial rank, next is class GD meaning god rank, and then it continues to class F. The class numbers are 1~12, 1 is the highest, and 12 is the lowest. It's an established academy with a long history, so classes are mixed in terms of Qi and Mana. The academy is highly regarded by the top 100 guilds/clans/guilds and so on.

Arts Mernal said to the class "I will be your magic teacher and of course, you will learn about magic and how to properly utilize it" (utilize means use but is a big word). Who is the first student here? Xiao then raised her arm and said, "Me sir". Prof. Arts asked, "Do you have your training clothes?" Xiao answered, "Yes, sir". Prof. Arts told the class to get dressed and head to the field. Xiao then asked Zion in confusion "Field?" Zion then responded to Xiao, "It can be called either way because it's outdoors and it has a magic circle in the middle so that you don't die or get hurt inside the field." Xiao responded, "Ahh."

Kira and Shyla asked Xiao to leave with the girls because it was time to change their uniforms.

It is Shilo and Courage who insist on taking Zion with them to change with the other boys. Zion said to the guy putting on his uniform, "okay stop pulling my uniform, it will cost money to fix the uniform." The students said to Zion, "we know how much you love money." Courage handed Zion a silver coin, then Zion replied, "can I have a couple more to exchange for endo coins?" There was a surprise for Courage because he had an Endo coin worth 5 silvers. Courage then asked where he got the endo coin, and Zion answered, While I was walking down the street I saw a pouch of money filled with money. Shilo then asked where the money was. Zion then said, "I left it in my room, missed the bus, and headed to school. That's why I was late."

In the girls' locker room. The money she lost contained some bronze coins and Ebony to Endo coins. Xiao talked about the money that had been lost. So, Zion got Xiao's money pouch. Xiao said to her closest friends, "That was all my money. At least I bought groceries that can last me for a month." Shyla responded to Xiao, "I hope you find your money pouch." Lihou asked the group to hurry up because the teacher might get mad. Everyone answered yes, we're done, let's go.

Prof. Arts "Alright since everybody's here we're able to use basic to intermediate skills like elements or whatever class you have."

As Zion shouted, the class grabbed whatever weapons, magic, or Qi enhancers they had. Zion picked out a Katana from the sword displacing cases as he walked toward them. The rest of the students picked up their respective tools and weapons.

Prof. Arts yelled at the top of his lungs "Now, get moving to be moved into the respected AREA OF PRACTICE, Xiao what class are you and why aren't you moving?" Xiao answered the teacher, "I'm a... Healer and I can try utilizing my Earth roots, I can also utilize wood elements and leaves. When you combine wood elements with leaves, you get wood-type branch art. Xiao cast a wood golem. It's smaller than normal because its actual size is massive. However, it eats tons of mana maybe around 10000 and a medium 50 ft tall creature consumes around 4500 Qi points or mana. This is because Xiao uses Qi. Low-class magic is around 100 to 200 Qi or mana.

Since they're only allowed to use the magic of intermediate rank, Zion is planning to show off his skills. This is because the teacher asked him to motivate the other students in other classes.

Zion proceeds to use dark sword magic called Void Splitter. Void splitter envelopes the entire sword with void mana meaning your sword can cut anything below it. When you level it up, it may even reach master rank or catastrophe rank, or even world-ending rank. Enough of that Zion will demonstrate the Void Cutter.

Having cast black sword magic on his sword, Zion formed a mesmerizing void splitter within it, followed by a run with the sword in his lower right because he is left-handed like his brother. While the sword is in his lower right, he knows how to properly handle the weapon with 2 hands instead of one. This is because that's how it is used and that's how his grandfather thought of them.

Zion then cut a strong piece of metal in half with a single slash. Xiao was in awe of how powerful Zion was. Then Xiao turned to Shyla and said, "he is very strong, especially when that rank is only intermediate." Prof. Arts said, "Well done, that was great." Now the rest of the class try your luck to dent that metal."

It's not surprising that the girls fall into classroom CE 12 9 since they're on the same subject and live in the same dormitory room. This is because the academy has 15000 students and 5000 teachers and there are rooms within walking distance. So, the lecture rooms are massive with magic speakers so that the entire class can hear Prof. talking. A ranking system was implemented after the showcase of powers, where Zion and his group made it to the top 10. Xiao glanced at Kira and said, "those wings are beautiful." Kira replied, "Thank you, I like your hair." Xiao responded, "Thank you." Then they talked about complementing each other's strengths.
