EPISODE 39

                 "PRESTON'S POV"

I came out with a white towel tied around my waist, jolie stood facing another direction. "You're still here" I said admiring the way she's acting shy around me.

"Do you want me to leave" she said still facing the other direction.

"Why wouldn't you look at me" I asked pretty sure I know why.

"I'll leave then" she said standing up and walking towards the door.

   I rushed towards her and trapped her to the door, I was totally wet even my hair was dripping, and she was too smart to close her eyes, I used the opportunity to kiss her on the lips, but she still wouldn't open her eyes.

"Fine you win" I said as removed my hands from her sides walking into the dressing room.

    As soon as I entered my eyes landed on some clothes neatly arranged on the table.

"You picked my clothes" I asked her coming out again "hmm" she replied

"I love you" I said smiling really hard "I made breakfast, I'll be waiting for you on the dinning" she replied instead. "No don't go" I replied as I entered again and started dressing, and few minutes later I was done afterwards.

                     "JOLIE'S POV"

   The door opened again as he stepped out, he looks earthen, he sat down on the stool as j dressed his hair, I made a messy hair look and it fitted perfectly. He added two single earrings on one side of his ear, then three rings on both his hands. He stood up and looking at me, be leaned down and kissed me again then he held my hands as we came down stairs.

     I sat down and started eating, he ate too, after he finished eating he drank the coffee instead. His guards already came in already, he stood up pulling me to himself In a hug, then he kissed me sucking into me, our tongue rolled but sadly he broke the kiss and kissed my forehead.

"Be careful" he said you me looking straight into my eyes "don't stay out long, and if you need anything call or use the card I gave you alright" he said as we walked outside, "be a good girl" he said as he entered his Bugatti centodieci. I watched as the car zoomed off with lots of securities before and after him.

   I went upstairs straight to my room, I checked my phone kai already gave me miss calls, so I quickly called him back.

"jollie I need you, am not feeling too well" he said as soon as the call went through, and for the record his voice was really shaking.

"I'll be there okay, send the address" I said into the phone before ending the call. I called iris too "am coming over" I said into the phone and ended the call cause I know she was gonna ask so many questions.

I brushed my teeth and had my bath, I came out sitting down in front of my dressing mirror drying my hair, when I was satisfied my hair was dried properly, I opened the wardrobe as I searched for clothes to wear.

    I picked an oversized plain white T-shirt and black demon skirt to go with, black demin skirt, I picked a small purse too, then i packed my hair in an high ponytail, I wore my Pam slippers to go with as I stepped out.

"Ma'am this way" a guard said as he lead me to a Bmw red car "iris" I said as I entered.

   The drive was a smooth one, we got to iris house but she wasn't there so we checked westly's and there she was, kimber was In too, they were playing a game when I entered.

"Hey jollie you're here" kimber said as she smiled, westly already removed his headphone "did you cook" he asked as soon as his eyes landed on me "no" I replied with a smike sitting down.

"Where are you going" iris asked "um I wanna check on something" I replied "can I come" iris asked "no it's really not important" I replied.

"Where's preston" westly asked not even allowing me to take a single breath from what I just told iris.

"He went outta the state this morning, but his coming back today maybe late" I replied

"So why didn't you go with him if he was gonna stay that long" Kimber asked.

"It's kinda like a meeting" I replied "ohh" she exclaimed "but still that isn't a good reason why you shouldn't follow him, I mean you could stay in his car or an private room" she replied.

I don't understand if kimber wants me to always cling to her brother or something more than that, I don't think she understands the word staying alone.

"Yeah I was the one who wanted to stay back" I replied "you see, I knew my brother would always take you along" she replied in a cute smile.

We talked played and laughed, they even taught me how to play the ps anime game, just in the middle of the game my phone rang "preston" I picked up immediately damn I already miss him.

"Where are you" he asked "at westly's" I replied and gave westly the phone, they talked for a while before he gave me back the phone.

"The meeting is taking longer than I expected, but don't worry I'll never back okay, I miss you and am dying to see your face again" he said.

"Don't take long, but if you ain't coming today make sure you call, so I can stay at westly's" I replied

"I can't let you sleep without me, I'll be coming okay. I LOVE you" he said "you too" I replied "I said I love you" he said again.

I looked up iris, I mean everyone's eyes were on me "just say it" kimber shouted

"I.. I LOVE you" i finally said as they all laughed, gosh I felt really shy. They were even making jest of me but it's fun.

After a short while I left the house straight to Kai's

"Kai" I called but his number wasn't going through, I called again and he picked up "am at your house" I said into the phone. "Am inside the guards will let you in" he said and ended the call.

   I came out of the car as I waited for him to come out, few minutes later he came outside looking really disorganized, his hair was raffled like a he hasn't brushed it for over a week ago, I quickly rushed to him.

"What's wrong with you" I asked "mhh I don't really know" he replied, I held his hand and damn it was hot, I let him inside.

"Have you eaten" I asked "no I can't" he said as he coughed "fine I'll make you soup" I offered, "don't worry it's fine" he replied as he started coughing.

"You need to take a bath, can you have your bath so I can take you somewhere" I said as I managed to take him upstairs to his room.

     I stayed outside of the room as he entered and took a quick bath, when he came out he was already fully dressed then I lead him outside to his car, I opened the door and he entered. Then I went to Preston's car.

"Can you go! " I asked the driver "mhh ma I can take you anywhere" he replied

"Don't worry I can take care of myself" I replied "sir said we should always be with you" he said again

"But am telling you am fine so you don't need to worry" I persuaded him

"But ma sir wouldn't be happy if he finds out, you left on your own" he replied really scared

"See don't worry I would be back even before he comes back, he wouldn't know a single thing I promise" I said trying to persuade him. After so many pleas and arguments he finally agreed and left.

I entered into Kai's car as the driver took us to the hospital, we checked in with the doctor and we were taken to a room after so many series of Test, kai was diagnosed of fever. He was put on drip and given some medications, I stayed with him for a while, my phone kept ringing non stop, I tried to avoid it because it's Preston, I checked the time and it was pretty late, I need to get going now, I said to myself.

"Kai, I'll leave now they will be worried now, I will come visit " I said to him.

"Why just stay it's already late" he replied "I wish I could but I really need to go" I said again

"Okay my driver would take you there" he offered again "I can go on my own, I promise it's fine" I said knowing fully well if Kai's driver take me to Preston's house it would start a quarrel adding to the fact kai would also know I leave with him too.

"Please be safe" he called after me "yeah sure you too" I replied and closed the door behind me.

   I called iris immediately "mmh kai wasn't feeling too well so I dropped him off at the hospital" I said into the phone because she was already worried.

"Preston already called and his back" she said, what have I gotten myself into"I screamed at myself.

"Kai's at the hospital" I heard Millie's voice "yeah" iris replied "where" she asked "I really don't know but jolie does" she said again

"Um it's crish " I said into the phone then I ended the call.

I went to the bus station but no bus was coming through and it was going to rain soon, I stood there for a while longer still nothing, the heaven finally opened it's mouth as it poured heavily, I ran into a shelter bit it wouldn't help because it was already getting too late, I checked my time it was about 8:34pm, I waited for another twenty minutes before I finally saw a cab, it pay is high but I really don't have anything to do, as far I could get home am okay with it.

    He dropped me off the restricted area and I had to trek in and it's such a long walk. The security allowed me in as soon as they saw me at the first stop, the offered an umbrella but I rejected it as I kept walking on. As soon as I got to the gate it opened at it's own accord, I walked in not minding anything course I was really scared, a guard rushed to me with an umbrella to cover me.

                 "PRESTON'S POV"

I checked my phone no calls no text form jollie, I called her lots of times but he wouldn't pick up, I tried a few more times but still no reply, the damn meeting finally ended, I tried my best to rush to the car, if something had happened to her westly, iris or kimber would have called. As soon as I entered we zoomed off I tried calling her again but still no response. I looked at my phone hoping a text would just pop up but nothing was coming.

   Why isn't she answering or replying my calls I taught, soon enough we got home it was like the car filed, I came out as I ran into the house, or did she suddenly changed her mind and left me, I taught when there was no sign of her. I entered her room her clothes were arranged neatly, so where could she have possibly go, I called iris again but she still hasn't reached her too. Just then it started to rain heavily.

I sat on the couch as I rested my head, lots of things were running through my mind, I checked my time it was already 8:20pm, yeah I remembered she took a driver and a guard with her. I sent for them immediately.

"Where's jollie" I asked as soon as they entered, but they kept quiet

"I just asked a question" I shouted

"Mhm... Sir, she told us to leave" the guard said

"You did what!! " I exclaimed "I remembered I told you clearly never to do that" I shouted again

"If I don't find her, you're all dead" I said in a low but serious tone.

"Umm sir, we went to Kai's that's where she told us to leave, but we didn't we followed them closely, she went to the hospital with him, I am thinking sir kai isn't feeling okay" the driver said.

"She took kai to the hospital or what" I asked

"Sir I really don't know" he replied

"You have to pray to God Almighty that she should be back or else" I said as a call entered.

"She's coming already please go easy on her, she took kai to the hospital" iris said

"Hmm ok it's alright, thanks anyway" I said as I ended the call.

"You may leave" I said without even looking at them, I just have to control myself.

I stood by the door as soon as I heard the gate opened, she was really socked, she must be really cold...
