[Inside Lotus Space]

A small girl was sitting on a soft cotton carpet outside of the bamboo pavilion, surrounded by spiritual flowers and plants. She had been reading all the books on the crystal table.

These books provided details about history, geography, practicing, and many more things in the cultivation world.

After Lianhua had done sorting out some of the information that she got, with a thought, she came into the spiritual spring pond. To be able to practice, people must have a spiritual root, and then they introduce the spiritual aura from heaven and earth into their dantian.

Before they started to absorb the spiritual aura of heaven and earth, people's bodies were still mortal. Unless they already practice in the body forging realm, they could get within reach of a mortal body and be able to live longer than a mortal.

To be able to absorb the aura faster, people have to wash their bone marrow by eating pills, elixirs, or drinking precious spring water to open up their meridians.

Those precious things will purify their body of impurities, help them absorb the aura, and help them practice faster.

But if one has rich resources and lucky adventures, their speed will be faster, which means they will have to experience the danger of life to challenge someone or creatures who are more powerful than their realm if they want to advance their realm smoothly, faster, and without bottlenecks.

To practice alchemy, arranging array formation, taming and contracting beasts, and many more could also be ways to solidify the realm.

Especially if one person has a heavenly or mutant spirit root, the practice effect is faster than anyone else's. Unfortunately, if one was unlucky and had no resources to advance, he or she would take a long time to advance or would die because of a bottleneck.

People's appearance will stay the same until they successfully build the foundation. They could choose to keep the same look or continue growing up.

When they complete the forging body period, their lifespan will be increased to 150 years; when they step into the Qi refining period, their lifespan will be increased to 300 years; and when they reach the foundation building period, they could live for 1000 years.

If they reach the Jiedan period, their lifespan will increase to 3000 years.

The ages here did not matter, because the higher your realm is, the younger your appearance could be changed.
