Rivalry

The medic noticed that my feet were turning red, and took a bit of water and threw at them. I pretended that i just wake up so they wouldn't get suspicious of me.

"What happened?" I asked

"Your feet started to burn all of sudden. Thats the first time i see this happening" He responded

My mom became paralised without understanding what just happened, and we both kept staring at each other.

After a while i was informed about what really happened. The bridge was a bit "rusty" something ironic considering that the place was one of the most protected places of the world. When the bridge broke, i fell where the Power Crystal liquid was, and luckily i was alive.

Some days passed and i was ready to go home, while i was going i felt much more vigorous, with energy to do anything. And i finally went home, entered my room and slept for the class tomorrow.

In the next day, my mom tells me to be careful, as i just left the hospital. While walking i noticed everyone moving away from me, and i heard everything they said from far.

"Its Light, how is he not dead?"

"I wonder if he used some spell?"

"Did someone save him?" They asked these types of questions and for some reason i could hear, even if they were talking low and far from me.

While walking to my classroom, Duky Zinglo comes towards me.

"Look what we have here... The john nobody! Hahahaha! Dont show off just because you survived, it was just luck and nothing more, in the end everyone knows that you are trash just like your family." The other times i never reached the point to punch him, because his swearing were direct to me and never to my family.

But in that moment i just thought in beating the shit out of him.

"Yo Duky" i call his attention

"Who do you think you are? You cow--"

When he turns to respond me, i give him a punch and it was absolutely one of the best i gave in all of my life.

"Who do you think you are, to come here and talk about my family? You are prideful just because you came from a noble family, but i dont give a shit about you and your family, for me you are just a rock." I yell, after the punch.

When i finish talking to him, everyone starts saying my name repeteadly, celebrating.

While celebrating, i feel someone touch my shoulder, feeling a pressure that i never felt before.

"Go to the principal's room." I hear my teacher say, and go without thinking twice.

After entering, i see my mom and dad there. I start questioning myself about how they were already there if i just beat Duky 2 minutes ago.

"Well, i am the principal Heiwa Mark. Some days ago there was a accident where you, Light, ended up injured. And going back to school you decide to beat a student that is from a family that can cause a serious headache to the school..."

"I'm Sorry, Mr. Heiwa, but i couldn't stand him! He despises the other students and nobody cared! Its unfair suffer the consequences."

"No, Light. I dont called you here to say you are wrong, i called to thank you for doing this. I was going to kick him out of the school, before you did this."

This is getting weird...

I see my mom almost breaking the chair holding it, before the principal said this, looking like she was gonna murder me. But my dad seemed happy for me winning the fight.

"Well, but this is not the reason that i called you all here. The real reason, was because he fell in a place full of Blue Fragments liquid. The Hestia family got interested in that and wanted to call you to do a test to become a sorcerer. That why i called you three.

"What? Its obvious that i will not let him go, i cannot leave my son to become a knight after he almost died in an accident!. Even if its the Hestia family." It was a expected response from my mom, there was no hope...

"Look, i think he should go, if something happens we will get informed immediately. We are his parents. And its a good way to leave this life we live, not saying its bad, but its a good opportunity to "grow" even more." My dad contradics

"What? Are you crazy?" My mom responds.

The 2 kept fighting, until principal Heiwa tells me that its better for me to chose.

"What? Me?"

Well, its a good decision for you." Makes sense, but isn't it better to have just called me?

My parents kept silent wanting to know my answer.

"See, i know that there will be good opportunities for me to become a sorcerer as well as get good treatment, but i don't want to leave and never see you again, so... I just go if my parents go too!"

I see principal Heiwa give a smile, and then says:

"Good one, Light. That was the correct answer. You probably forgot, but something the Hestia family notices more in a person is their family. If you said other thing besides that, you would not go to there, even saying yes."

I see a smile coming from my mom, after hearing that she will live in the Hestia's house.

"Well, prepare your things, tomorrow y'all will have a long day."
