Chapter 28 No Happiness in the Wade Family

Ethan stopped what he was doing and turned his head, only to see the assistant who had just hidden to a side looking at him.

"You know about his dealings with Mr. Silver?"

"Not only do I know, but I was involved in all their transactions," the assistant replied.

Ethan's interest was piqued, "You want to tell me these secrets? Aren't you afraid of dying?"

The assistant's eyes were full of hatred, "What does it matter? My life is no different from death anyway."

"Don't you dare, Cedric, you bastard!" Patrick shouted at him.

"Your name is Cedric?" Ethan grabbed Patrick to stop him from continuing, then asked the assistant.

He nodded, "Yes, Cedric, Cedric Wade."

"You are a Wade?" Ethan was somewhat surprised. Wasn't the Wade family supposed to have only Patrick and Damian?

Cedric smiled bitterly and nodded, "Didn't he just tell you? I am a bastard, his half-brother."
