Loser lover (Beomgyu fanfic)

"I will steal you from him. That's a promise." "Promises are made to be broken." "This time it won't." "But you're going to die." "Better than live without you." ~ Can a good man take a bad man's possession and get away with it unscathed? Is she worth the bloodbath? A/N: Just another AU fanfic for Beomgyu because my mind is giving me a headache I had to write them down in a book. Hope you’ll like it. Everything mentioned in this book are all fictions except for Beomgyu or TXT’s descriptions but in no way related to their real lives.

Beomgyu's pov

I choked on my reply. I had to cough it off for while and she ended up standing and caressed my back.

"Sorry, I was just teasing you." She giggled and I found that cute. "You can just go and apply in person. Bring your birth certificate for formalities and show the staffs what you can do."

My eyes widened at her.

"Is that it? Don't you need the most important requirement?"

She looked confused.

"Police clearance." I quickly added. "I mean you gotta have to know the background of the people you're recruiting aren't you?"

She looked at me in awe. I cursed myself for blabbering too much since that would screw my plans but for obvious reason I'm always disoriented when she's nearby.

"My father don't judge. He knows some of the children deemed problematic stemmed from being neglected so he wants to help the ones passionate on their dreams change their lives for the better. At least for their mental health."

"Really?" I'm genuinely surprised at the turn of events. However, I shouldn't let her feel even a little bit suspicious with me so I stopped asking questions. "I'm so lucky then."

"You know what," She said while wiping her lips with a piece of wet tissue. "…let's go right now."

"W-wait," I panicked when she suddenly stood up and went to the bathroom once again and brushed her teeth. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah. You can bring your birth certificate later in the day. I'll introduce you over there myself."

That's how we ended up in the parking lot of the same hotel.

At first I thought she'd lead me to some agency in the town but we just went back to the same place we left last night.

One block away I can already tell there's a commotion and seeing a bunch of police cars at the corner lot near the entrance got me changing my mind in a flash.

"Shoot. I totally forgot people might be looking for you." I wanted to reverse but she held my hand to keep me from escaping a possible jail.

"Don't worry. I'll handle them."

Some police officers who were about to warn me for entering a "crime scene" frantically approached her as soon as she stepped out of the small sedan and the others on their brown uniform pointed guns on my face.

"Don't move!"

Fuck.

I held my breath in surprise and instantly raised my hands as per my brother's advice if I somehow end up in a situation like this.

The cops who surrounded my car are mostly unfamiliar faces so I don't think my brother would show up to save my fucked up ass, especially when I already passed him her cellphone as a form of evidence and he was expecting me to stay put inside my apartment after all the trouble I went through to get it.

From the aura they're emitting, I can tell these people were the opposite. After all, no one in their right mind would be sporting gold earrings on either their ears or nose if they'll be working under the government.

"Stop," she instantly blocked their weapons by standing in front of the car window, "this is just a misunderstanding."

"Alicia!"

"Yeonjun." She whispered to herself but I caught it.

Damn. My brother won't believe this. The ever sleek man himself is now fast approaching our spot and his facial expression alone gives me goosebumps.

Every nerve in my body wants to film him since he looked so pissed, there's a possibility he'd try to hurt her, however, one false move and my soul would be leaving this world.

However, it didn't turn out how I envisioned it to be.

Instead, he pulled her close, inspected her face and body for any injuries. Like the usual loving husband I see on tv.

"I was so worried when they told me you are missing and the janitors found a lot of blood by the broken mirror at the restroom."

He hugged her tighter and our eyes met. He instantly glared daggers.

"And who the hell are you?"
