Loser lover (Beomgyu fanfic)

"I will steal you from him. That's a promise." "Promises are made to be broken." "This time it won't." "But you're going to die." "Better than live without you." ~ Can a good man take a bad man's possession and get away with it unscathed? Is she worth the bloodbath? A/N: Just another AU fanfic for Beomgyu because my mind is giving me a headache I had to write them down in a book. Hope you’ll like it. Everything mentioned in this book are all fictions except for Beomgyu or TXT’s descriptions but in no way related to their real lives.

Chivalry isn’t dead

Beomgyu's pov

It was so tempting to bring her to my place but at the back of my mind, there was this voice who told me otherwise. So I brought her to a motel and left her there to think things through for the night.

If she leaves on her own the next day, then she probably thinks her lavish lifestyle is more important than her own feelings.

If she preferred to stay, then the clothes I purchased from the mall wouldn't end up in a waste basket.

I prayed she'd pick the second option off, first to save money and second, to subtly gather information.

However, seeing her in the bath after I've arrived at noon made me swallow all my saliva down my throat.

Before I end up in memory lane I placed a paperbag with a bit expensive than ordinary clothes I bought, atop of a wooden center table since she might refuse to wear cheap stuff.

Then I heated different kinds of food I ordered from the nearby Chinese restaurant. Fried rice, stir fried noodles, sweet and sour pork, dumplings, ma po tofu and a couple of rice cake balls covered with sesame seeds in case she's vegan.

"Hey."

I froze in front of the table after glancing at her standing just outside the blurred bathroom door, wearing a white towel that barely hid her chest and long legs.

"H-hi." I greeted back and continued what I was doing to diffuse the heavy atmosphere between us.

"You actually came back." She giggled softly.

I couldn't help but look at her face again. She was containing her smile but her eyes are giving it away.

"I promised didn't I?" I replied and went towards the other side of the Queen-sized bed to pick the paper bags. "Here. I brought you new clothes."

I walked back to the black leather couch and distributed the chopsticks, spoons and forks on both paper plates.

"What do you want to drink?" I asked without looking this time and placed cans of soda, beer and plastic bottles of water on the farthest side.

If the table was seen without context, someone would think this is some kind of a last supper and not a lunch of two people.

She didn't respond to my question but instead asked me how I managed to buy her underwear.

"I-uh…" I scrambled to find the right words but nothing came out that's not perverted.

"Adjustable wire free brassiere and and seamless thong. So you memorized my sizes and preferences on fabrics?" Her sarcastic tone and wide smile made me even more embarrassed for myself.

"When I asked for comfortable, they gave me those. I didn't mean to offend you." I sighed and apologized. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright." She approached the bed and slowly scattered the clothes over it. "I'm actually relieved that you know what I need."

I gasped when she let the towel fall on it's own and dressed up without warning but it's understandable since her hand probably is still hurting.

I cleaned her cuts last night before I left and hoped the bandage was enough to prevent infection. Her left hand had minimal injuries around her fingers so two bandaids was all it took to fix it.

I forced myself to look away and go for the can of beer till the last drop. Fortunately she was already dressed by then.

And the saleslady was right when she told me that she'd rock a white shoulder pad tank top with dark green tailored trousers when I requested for something easy to wear but not too casual.

"How thoughtful." She turned around and sat on the bed while fitting the three inch high-heeled, animal print shoes included in the bag by using only one hand. "I thought you forgot about the most important thing."

"I'm glad you liked them." I mentally sighed.

"Thank you. Now I'm convinced you're already taken despite being a teenager or something."

"No I'm not." I quickly responded even though it sounded defensive.

"Which one though?" Her eyebrow raised as she took a bottle of water.

"I'm twenty one and… been single for awhile now."

"Really?" Her eyes widened up and I got amused at how she was genuinely shocked by this.

"Do I look that young?" I grinned.

Her ears reddened. It was actually kind of cute, especially when her aura is opposite of it.

But to my surprise she told me her age and I didn't expect her to be the same age as mine despite her visuals very telling. I just thought she was too vain due to her status.

"How's your wounds?" I tried to change the topic before I end up asking why she married this early and ruin everything.

"Why did you come back?" She frowned and I got cornered. "Please be honest."

"Um… I was worried."

"I get the feeling of being guilty or something from the last time we met but why are you even doing this much to a person you don't even know?"

"Because I care about you."

To be continued…
