True Beginning

Allen was quite disappointed that the summoned didn't have any types of weapons since Human's strongest skill is their use of weapons. Still, it was better than nothing. There were 9 men and 1 woman in the group.

Ordering the summoned to follow him, Allen went to the door and took a deep breath before opening the door. The door opened up to the cave directly with only a small walking gap allowing someone to walk around the house into the woods.

Looking around the foxes were nowhere to be seen. Walking into the cave very quickly Allen found a rusty sword lying on the ground next to a skeleton.

"Who knows how to wield a sword?"

"I do Sire!" Two men stood out of the crowd and saluted Allen.

Nodding his head he pointed at one of them to pick up the sword and follow deeper into the cave. The cave went on for another minute of slow walking before the very dim light from outside lit up a group of foxes all curled up in a corner doing their best to get away from the entrance. Even though they noticed him they still only tried to move further away from the entrance.

Thinking about what to do about the now helpless foxes his stomach suddenly rumbled saying how hungry he was now. Looking back at the people behind him he realized everyone needed food and water and this animal was his way to survive another day.

Despite feeling bad for killing the cute foxes Allen ordered their death. This was a new place and death was probably going to be a constant truth. The Foxes let out a painful screech as six foxes died one by one. Allen, as a modern man, felt disgusted by his own actions, but as someone who lived close to the woods before, it felt strangely natural.

[Battle Gains -> +6 Exp.]

Ordering the summoned to take the corpses to the house and ordering the one hunter to skin and prepare the meat to the best of his ability. Searching the cave it had a rotting broken wooden chest with a dim crystal inside.

[Dire Wolf Summoning Circle Crystal]

[Will create a small summoning circle that will summon 10 Dire Wolves every week.]

[Note: Once built it is (Upgradable) but (Immobile).]

"YES! With this, I will be able to hunt and get food without worrying about dying randomly! Wolves are also fast so I could find water too!" Just as Allen was celebrating his great discovery, one of his men came up to him and interrupted his happiness.

"Lord! We found the foxes were living in a salt mine!"

Having his happiness amplified since salt is also a necessity for humans, Allen decided to look at the forums to see how others were doing. Humans especially since most humans have about the same starting point compared to other races who don't have any information about how good their statistics are. Deciding to check out the universe as a whole Allen first checked the Universal Chat.

[Being an Undead is great! I don't tire, hunger, or thirst! My stats all have a 100% increase except intelligence!]

[Why is being a Human so hard! I just summoned my units and the Humans I summoned don't even have tools to get resources, much less weapons! Can a big brother or big sister help me?]

[I am so hungry. Why do Dwarves need so much food? I ate before coming here and I am already starving. Can someone help me?]

[How can a Dwarf be unlucky? If you are hungry just walk! You can find it eventually unless you are a fake Dwarf!]

[The goddess of luck is shining on me! Not only am I a Fire Dwarf in the cold where I can warm myself, I even found food the moment I became slightly hungry! Even my troops are powerful!]

[Can someone help an Elven beauty? I am a Water Elf with very supple skin. I just need some food.]

Finding most of the complaints were about food, Allen felt gratified he had at least enough food for tonight. Checking the Human Chat next he found an even worse situation there.

[Good bye fellow Humans. I ran into a group of small birds and thought I could get their eggs for food, but those monsters control fire! They burnt my hand! Then if it wasn't bad enough a huge flock of them is now chasing me! Please don't touch the red birds.]

[I need water! How is a person supposed to survive in the desert without any help? Help! Please for a fellow Human!]

[Help! I was fasting before coming here and was about to end, but now without any water or vitamins or fat left, how am I supposed to survive!]

[What am I supposed to do with a group of weaponless Humans! Help! I won't survive!]

[Everyone I have come to warn you that if you want to survive check what skills your troops have! I got someone who can make axes with and harvest wood and now can survive like that! Even the extra axes can be sold! Your troops might be more powerful than you think! I wish you luck on your survival.]

[HAHA! Brothers I bring good news! At random places, you can find chests with items! I just got a +10 Strength sword! I will rule this world!]

With so many pleas for help Allen soon understood he needed to find a way to get himself out of the early game. His skills were only useful when he had a larger army and fought against another lord.

Quickly moving back to the house he first asked everyone if they knew anything about making tools and who could make fire. The only woman in the group stood out as well as another man with a full beard.

The woman bowed first, "I was a blacksmith and know a thing or two about making weapons from scratch."

The man beside her also bowed, "I was an avid hunter and stayed in the forest. I can start a fire and make my own bow drill." The man was also the one who said he could skin and prepare the fox's bodies.

Nodding his head, Allen gave orders to everyone to help these two with everything they needed with three others to go out and get firewood. Then he walked into another corner of the house and took out the [Dire Wolf Summoning Circle Crystal], Allen crushed it without hesitation creating another magic circle.

Not wanting to wait any longer, Allen activated the circle. After a bright flash of light 10 large Dire Wolves appeared. The wolves soon laid down and rolled over showing their stomachs to Allen as a sign of submission.

[Race: Dire Wolf]

"They are stronger than I thought! Well at least better than a Human. Stand up!"

The wolves quickly rolled back onto their feet and looked at Allen ready for any orders. Allen on the other hand kept checking all sides of the wolves. After seeing how large the wolves were he ordered them outside to get a good look at them in the light.

Seeing the large wolves that were almost as tall as he was, Allen suddenly thought about Movies where mythical empires used large wolves as mounts. With so much excitement Allen immediately ordered the closest wolf to lie down so he could get on.

"Whoa-" Grabbing onto a tuft of hair on the dire Wolves back Allen was barely able to stabilize himself as the wolf stood up. "How are you doing?"

As he asked, the wolf's feelings were fed back into him as if the wolf wanted to share everything with its' master. With a happy-sounding Howl, the wolf seemed to feed more emotions into Allen as if telling him everything was fine. Surprised by the new experience, Allen asked to be let down before calling over his only swordsman.

Touching his shoulder Allen asked him a random question and did his best to see if he could feel all the troop's emotions or if the wolves were special. "How happy are you here?"

A happy feeling rushed into his mind as a proud voice came from the swordsman, "I couldn't be happier!"

Surprised Allen didn't know how to really make use of this strange new ability and instead decided to focus on other things. Not really sure about how much food everyone would need to eat well he asked the swordsman to take charge of the wolves. Leaving all the other Humans to start the work, Allen decided to get a good idea of what is around his now home base.

Does Allen want to be a Disney princess by controlling animals?
