The day came too quickly as several mages and wolves didn't want to wake up after fighting such powerful enemies. Allen on the other hand quickly organized the troops to get ready for a fight that might happen.
First thing in the morning Allen focused on the elemental stone sales that seemed to be disappearing and quickly becoming out of hand yesterday. As soon as he looked up light or darkness stones he found nothing. No one was selling any. On sale were a few lower leveled stones at the price of 15,000 units of food!
Having seen how useful the stones were, despite needing many things, Allen bought 4 Fire stones for his fire mages. Then 4 Earth stones leaving only the largest bear's body to be used as extra supplies or food. Despite wanting to get more stones, Allen also knew he probably couldn't waste so much food now that the amount of troops he had was so large.
Despite his sadness with the lack of elemental stones, Allen quickly moved on to the important things. Undead are said to be hurt by either fire or light elements. Taking out a Fire stone Allen quickly went about upgrading the summoning circle once again.
[Upgrade (Human Fire Mage Summoning Circle) -> (Great Human Fire Mage Summoning Circle)]
[Yes]
Very quickly the room seemed to heat up slightly as the bright flash of light blinded everything that could see it. The light barely lasted as soon enough it calmed down, but the difference of the circles came into view as the floor seemed to now be covered in a thin layer of soot.
Trading some of the largest bear for supplies, Allen didn't hesitate to summon the mages. Very quickly the flash of light blinded him as the room restarted heating up becoming more intense as the cool morning air that should be felt instead gave way to a scorching summer heat from inside.
Soon ten humans appeared in front of him. The humans quickly composed themselves as they shouted loudly, "Lord!"
Having checked the troops yesterday Allen didn't even hesitate to check all the mages one by one.<

Unfortunately, it seemed that only Ricardo would gain talent on the day of arrival while everyone else would be normal people. After double-checking Allen sent the mages out to have a leader deal with them while he took out another fire stone.
[Upgrade (Great Human Fire Mage Summoning Circle) -> (Glorious Human Fire Mage Summoning Circle)]

Soon the heat spread as it enveloped the room to the extreme forcing Allen to leave the room. Still, the heat only lasted a short while as within the minute the heat dissipated enough to allow him entry. The humans all followed the usual procedure calling out to him the moment they saw him, "Lord!"

Looking at the mages he noticed a special mage that had two small red horns on top of her head and a few red scales covering a few parts of her face. She looked slightly out of place as she kept her head down as if she didn't want to be noticed. Looking at each mage one by one he finally saw she was the only one with an enhanced title. Reading the new stats made Allen even more excited as he felt an overwhelming happiness.

Shocked and amazed at how powerful she was Allen quickly spoke addressing her, "What is your name?"
She looked slightly nervous, but with obvious hidden confidence as she spoke, "My name is, Aza Ignis, sir..."
Allen was slightly surprised as this was also the first time that someone who was summoned had a last name. Historically, last names were reserved for nobility, or the times when there were a lot of people moving around. (After the black plague people started using last names as they were needed to distinguish people. Mostly because people moved around in search of a better life and then needed a better distinction between themselves and others in the villages.)
"Aza, as you are the strongest here you will take charge of all fire mages here."
As soon as he finished speaking many fire mages looked disgruntled, but no one spoke a word. Aza herself looked completely surprised before bowing deeply and speaking with a serious voice, "Your will is law."
[Glorious Fire Dragon Mage(Aza Ignis) feels grateful you have put so much faith in her and wholeheartedly wants to serve you. (+10 Loyalty)]
[Congratulations!]
[Glorious Fire Dragon Mage(Aza Ignis) has reached a loyalty past (100) and it is now very difficult to lower it so long as you don't backtrack on the words that brought such loyalty!]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Vita Ester) believes you have failed in judgment and sees you as less fit to be her master. (-10 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Robert) believes you have failed in judgment and sees you as less fit to be his master. (-10 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Rosaleen) believes you have failed in judgment and sees you as less fit to be her master. (-10 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Viper) believes you have failed in judgment...]
Seeing so many people unhappy and losing loyalty, Vain spoke calmly, "I need to know why do you all seem so unhappy with my arrangements? You all don't plan to go against my orders do you?"
Many of the mages looked embarrassed being called out while Aza seemed to become nervous that he would take back his words. Waiting for a while no one seemed to speak up, so Allen called out to a random mage closest to him.
"Lord... I am sorry if I am being forward, but... She ~IS~ a demi-human..."
"What does that have to do with anything?" Allen started becoming annoyed. He summoned powerful troops, only to have them lose loyalty because of a single decision isn't the best feeling.
The mage seemed even more helpless seeing his tacit way of speaking didn't mean anything to his Lord. Allen on the other hand seemed to realize what was happening and spoke with a calm tone, "To you all who came here know that this isn't the world you came from, and I don't know anything about the world you came from. Where I came from there was only humans. Nothing else. Even if Aza seems a bit different, I don't see any reason why she should be seen as less capable in any way."
The mages around seemed to realize what he was saying as several notifications sounded.
[Glorious Fire Mage(Harlet Griffin) understands you don't understand clearly the problem and forgives you. (+5 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Rosa Palma) understands you don't understand clearly the problem and forgives you. (+5 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Rosaleen) understands you don't understand clearly the problem and forgives you. (+5 Loyalty)]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Talon) understands you don't understand...]
Looking at all the messages Allen realized something strange. Only 8 people lost loyalty, and one had stayed neutral the whole time. Of those 8 who had lost loyalty only seven gained back five loyalty.
"I see... My lord, let me tell you of the treacherous demi-humans!"
As Allen was truly confused, he let the man speak.
"Demi-humans are known for not being able to control their lust for power! Almost every country who has had a demi-human in a high position has fallen to their power-hungry ways! They are so prideful that they rarely bow their heads! She may bow her head now, but sooner or later she ~WILL~ lose respect and will betray you."
Allen frowned and spoke, "Is that all?"
All the mages looked surprised that even after he learned more about demi-humans he would stay unfazed.
[Glorious Fire Mage(Vita Ester) has lost most of her respect for you. (-10 Loyalty)]
[Warning!]
[Glorious Fire Mage(Vita Ester) loyalty reached (80) and has dropped from (Exalted) to (Friendly). She will no longer follow your orders absolutely.]
Surprised and unhappy Allen spoke with a scowl, "If it is loyalty you worry, I can guarantee she is the one who won't betray me at this point. After all I know who is most and least loyal at a glance." Suddenly Allen had an idea and spoke with a profound tone, "From what I can tell, Vita Ester is the one who has lost her respect for me, and is the least loyal."
As he finished speaking a beautiful woman seemed to get pale which helped Allen know who was who. Turning to her he asked, "So Vita? You think I didn't know who you were? Did you think I wouldn't know who felt worse about my actions?" He then gave her a disdainful look, "Fool. From now on you all will follow Aza as per my original plans. If she makes bad desions she will lose her position, but if you all decide to go against her just to make her fail, then you will be punished," Pausing for a moment Allen put on his cruelest smile, "I hope I won't have to put my world's torture methods to use. After all they weren't very... helpful to keep people sane..."
