Beyonder!

There are some instances that were just beyond me to understand, I request some aid please. Do also notify me of other mistakes and I will fix them...

"It's better to wait until Dunn goes to work." Hidal decided to be more cautious.

As the captain of the 'Nighthawks', Dunn spent most of his time in the 'Blackthorn Security Company' and would usually sleep for a few hours only when he went home and then immediately goes back to work trying to prevent Beyonder related incidents, efficient and timely.

Hidal had complained about it once but Dunn simply said, " It's a small price for the high wages."

"We don't need that much money, it doesn't matter even if you get paid less." Hidal retorted and Dunn having no counter decided to not say anything.

Of course the current Hidal knows the truth of the matter.

Sure enough, Dunn's voice was heard outside the room soon, "Hidal, I have to go to the company and I may be back the day after tomorrow. Remember to take care of yourself and don't forget to eat dinner."

"I will come back with Daly when the time comes. Get ready and don't forget to put on your clothes."

Hidal's eyelids twitched, 'what do you mean don't forget to put on my clothes, pajamas are also clothes!'

"Okay Dunn, I understand." Hidal replied helplessly.

After a while, Hidal who thought Dunn had left, heard Dunn's voice again, "By the way, the laundry maid has already taken the clothes and washed them and they should be delivered tomorrow afternoon, don't forget to put the clothes away properly by neatly hanging them on the hangers!"

"Okay I see, is there anything else?"

'Dunn, can you stop doing this every time...' Annoyed, Hidal complained inwardly.

"No that's all, I'm leaving now, see you the day after tomorrow!"

This time Hidal was not at ease. He came out of the room, formally said goodbye to Dunn, watched him go out and waited for more than ten minutes to make sure that Dunn would not come back before he was completely relieved.

"Finally, we can start making potions!" Hidal couldn't wait to run back to the room, took out all the ingredients and headed to the basement.

There are several rooms in the basement with each used to store different things. Some are used to store wine, some are used to store ice, some are used to store various sundries and one is used as a laboratory.

This laboratory was originally left by the previous owner of the house. Dunn asked to keep it when he bought it but not once had the former Hidal seen him use it.

When he came to the laboratory and saw that all the experimental equipment was intact and complete, Hidal was completely relieved. Relying on the memory in his mind he took out all the experimental equipment used. He cleaned and dried them and then neatly arranged everything.

After arranging all the ingredients in order, Hidal took a deep breath and started to brew the potion. The whole process was serious and rigorous such that he was suddenly thankful that when he was in school he paid careful attention to every chemistry experiment class well done.

About half an hour later, a cup of thick yellow liquid with countless tiny bubbles appeared in front of Hidal's eyes. Just looking at it, Hidal felt that some sort of force was emanating from it entering his mind. He quickly looked away.

"Maybe I should come to a Gendisi cigar now, then dance a court dance to relieve my nervousness and then dry it up!" Hidal joked to ease his nervousness. (I don't know what this means, some assistance would be appreciated...)

Then without looking at it, he brought the cup to his mouth and drank the potion in one gulp. The moment it entered his mouth, Hidal felt that the potion was kind of slimy like jelly. It slid into his stomach with a thud and then quickly spread to every cell in the body.

Hidal felt his whole body start to heat up, his vision began to blur and a murmur suddenly sounded in his mind, "You finally woke up!"

Following that, Hidal's body erupted uncontrollably with countless tiny fleshy particles. At this moment, Hidal felt like he was being watched by the Outer Gods like last night, though this felt many times weaker in comparison.

His thoughts began to wander like a someone floating at sea.

Fortunately he now had experience and quickly stabilized his thoughts. His body began to gradually return to normal and he could clearly see the surrounding scene. All the colors seemed to overlap each other forming a hazy and soft white light in the room.

Hidal knew that this was caused by the potion's power leaking out and he began to recall how old Neil had taught Klein to contemplate in his mind something that did not exist in the world. He did just that and meditated on different things in his mind.

Soon, his body and mind calmed down and his spirituality extended and unfolded little by little. Hidal opened his eyes, looked at his body and saw that every part of his body exuded different colors.

"This should be Spirit Vision!" Hidal was a little excited, he finally became a Beyonder!

"Being able to perceive spirituality means that I am very spiritual. Doesn't that mean that I can also use divination?" Hidal smiled and then made a gesture to use as a switch to be able to freely turn the spirit vision on and off, using the pulp of the thumb and the pulp of the index finger and rub them twice."

'If you put your hand in front of you to turn on your spirit vision, wouldn't that mean what you mean.' Hidal thought hilariously. ( yeah... Here as well, I don't know what this means. Help!)

Just when he was about to check the abilities he had gained as a Priest, he suddenly felt a torrent of information rushing into his mind.

"What!"

Hidal let out a scream, the torrent of information flooding his brain was just too much for him and he simply couldn't digest it all at once. Hidal felt that his brain was just about to explode because of this information, his eyes were red and his veins were visibly swollen. He knew that if he could not process all this information into his own knowledge in time, his head would explode directly and the laboratory would be full of flesh and blood!

Just when Hidal felt like he was about to explode, he noticed his chest under his clothes suddenly becoming hot and a translucent cross pattern appeared then the flood of information in his mind was absorbed by the cross.

The liberated Hidal couldn't hold it any longer and immediately collapsed to the ground and sighed heavily.

After a while, Hidal recovered a little and said with lingering fear: "What's going on, I'm just a Sequence 9 Priest, why is there so much information? Is it the phantom of the 'Hidden Sage'? What did that murmur mean?"

Hidal stood up from the ground and contemplated the cause for the flood of information just now. He thought that the Hidden Sage was responsible because this was very similar to how 'He' operated in the novel.

Remembering the abnormality that came from his chest before, he hurriedly took off his clothes and took a look.

He saw a translucent cross pattern on his chest.

"Could this be the key to enter Heaven?" Hidal thought so because after he came out of Heaven he didn't know how to enter again. So he strengthened his previous idea that only by becoming a 'Priest' could he be the Master the Heaven.

At this time the mark on his chest proved that his thoughts were indeed correct.

After calming down, Hidal found that even though the cross had absorbed the flood of information before, there was still a lot of information in his mind.

He quickly digested it.
