Chapter 7: My lord space

Knock...knock...

I was woken up from my sleep by the light knock on my door. The first thing that I did after waking up was to check the status that I had obtained as an awakened lord yesterday.

Only after looking at the status in front of me did I sigh in relief. I took a long and relaxing shower before exiting my room and going down. My parents were in the living room chatting with each other happily while listening to the news of the activities all around the federation.

" Ohh... My 'little lord' woke up. Haha... Do you want to have breakfast now or after some time.?" My mother was the first to notice me. She greeted me while smiling.

My dad also greeted me after listening to my mom, He just nodded at me before focusing on the television watching the news.

The news was talking about the awakening ceremony yesterday. There were some students who were special amongst millions of the students who took part in the awakening ceremony yesterday.

Looking at the powerful attributes and talents those students had awakened, my father was amazed. He would sigh from time to time while shaking his head.

I was also envious of the attributes they had awakened, One had actually awakened an Angel attribute. Most of the students on the list had the potential of at least tier-6, and the one with the highest potential had even awakened tire-9 potential while awakening yesterday. As for talent, the highest someone had awakened was S-level.

My father stopped looking at the news after looking at the top 10 young geniuses who awakened yesterday before talking with me about my lord's space.

" How is your lord space?" He asked me.

" I don't know. I haven't checked the Lord's space."

He was speechless when he heard that I hadn't even checked my lord's space till now.

" Aren't you excited about being a lord??"

"Yes, I am."

Well, He was even more excited than I was. After all, I was the only one who had been able to awaken as a lord in our family till now after the great disaster.

He gave me a side eye when I replied to his question as if saying, " Yup, I would believe you after listening to your reply without an ounce of excitement other lords have when awakening for the first time."

I only smiled while looking at his expression.

"Get to the dining room you two. Breakfast is ready." My mother called us from the dining room.

Breakfast was a combination of dishes left from yesterday. It was delicious. I have to say, my other has magic in her hands, anything that she cooks is always delicious regardless of the ingredient used.

And me, I have tried cooking but... Let's not talk about it, it left a deep impression on both me and my father so whenever we are left without Mom, we always order takeaway food. Actually, the takeaway is way cheaper than homemade food but it is unhealthy too.

My dad... Hehe, he is even worse. He doesn't dare to enter the kitchen when Mom is cooking at all. Nah, he doesn't dare to enter the kitchen even when Mom is outside.

It was already noon by the time my mom and I had completed household chores. My father had already left home for his job after breakfast as it wasn't a holiday today.

I entered my room and locked the door from inside before entering the lord space I had awakened yesterday. My mom was watching something in the living room with full attention.

" I'm going to check my Lordspace."

"OK, Sweetie... Have fun managing your little territory."

I wasn't afraid of getting disturbed by her while I was inside. She even urged me to check my lord's space after listening to me.

I felt light for some time once I connected to the lord's space. It might be due to the fact I was still floating above the piece of land that was supposed to be my lord's area.

I only had to think about getting on the land before I was magically teleported in front of the dilapidated cottage that would work as my anchor point to the Lord's space from now onwards.

[Upgrade requirements: 1000 SF points and one Tier-1 Flare crystal. ]

Spatial Flare points( SF points) worked as a currency inside the lord's territory that could be used for several things. There were primarily two methods to obtain SF points. First was the refinement done by Lord's Space. Every lordspce would automatically earn 100 SF points a day by refining the SF gathered from the environment, and another way was by simply killing the monster outside your territory.

Flare crystal could also be obtained by killing the monsters or could be purchased directly from the market.

Once I read the information about the depilated cottage, More buildings appeared beside it.

[ Recruitment space: Connected to the vast space. Chance to recruit 2 troops from the vast space once a day(Uses 100 SF points for recruitment). Since lord has no attributes, he can summon normal troops from the recruitment space.]

[ Upgrade requirement: Tier-1 lord and 500 SF points]

Looking at the troops that I could recruit with the help of my recruitment space, I was absolutely depressed.

"Normal troops... Was I going to recruit some normal dudes to fight with other powerful lords in the battle?"

[ Thatched granary: Food is essential for every troop to sustain their energy. So, the Lord must have a place to store all the food within their territory. Capacity, 500 KG of food. ]

[ Upgrade requirement: Tier 1 lord and 200 SF points]

As for the last one, it was a warehouse.

[ Thatched Warehouse: Are you going to let your troops fight without any weapons? Then collect and store weapons and other equipment required for war for your troops. Can store 500 sets of weapons, battle armor, and other equipment.]

All the buildings were as told by the teachers.

Every building could be upgraded after meeting the upgrade requirement which made it easier for us lords to upgrade our territory in the beginning as the requirements to upgrade any buildings in the future would give a headache even to those high-tiered lords.

Now let's look at the only unique thing on my stats, my talent.
