'Ahh… I think I understand what's happening here.'
Lucius' gaze fell on the ambitious young man that was Luca and sent his mind into quick analysis. He could already pick out a few things based on the boy's request and the corresponding expression on his face.
'He's trying to prove himself again… and not just that, but maybe to even outdo Lili.'
What was Luca's intention? To replace Lili as the most competent member? No, if that was the case, why would he bother elevating her just earlier?
There had to be something else…
'Maybe he just wants to prove himself to me, and this is the best way he knows how to. I shouldn't jump the gun just yet…' Lucius decided.
