Chapter 89:Uninvited Guest

Adryan was moving through the shadows, circling slowly around his house looking for any difference.

'The windows are still as I left them, the doors don't seem to have been forced but I can't rule out the possibility that that bitch used lock picks to get in,' the redhead thought seriously as he finished the fifth lap around his house.

Squatting on the edge of his house, the redhead breathed deeply and the smell of his surroundings reached his nose.

Quickly he separated the different scents with which he already knew and only found the scent of a woman.

Narrowing his eyes, Adryan looked at his house suspiciously, his senses wide open.

'This is the smell of that Prisoner from when I first met Nathan and Sasha, did she risk coming for me by herself?' As quickly as that possibility passed through his head, he denied it with a deeper frown.

'When she just found out that her partner had died she didn't hesitate to escape, this shows that she has some brain cells, she wouldn't risk coming for me by herself, there must be someone else that I haven't detected yet, but why make such a risky move after so much time?'

'So important was what was written in that document that I gave to Maric'

With several chances, Adryan crept to an angle where he could see his kitchen window.

Thanks to his improved eyesight he was able to see the wires of some of his traps that he had set up in all the time he was in that house.

'From the looks of it none of the traps in the main entrance, the kitchen and the living room were activated so she had to enter either through the bathroom or through the study, some of the traps I placed there were made with the blood of the Demon Fish. so if she activated any then she should already be dead'

'But that's not the case, the blood of that shitty fish has a horrible smell so I would detect if one of those traps was activated and none were' the redhead thought slightly impressed.

That Prisoner shows that she's not stupid and has some idea of what she's up against, but for her to have avoided all the traps was ridiculous in Adryan's opinion and this caused his guard to be raised multiple times.

This increased the probability several times that she was not alone and whoever is accompanying her is someone capable.

The redhead didn't think that someone who couldn't be more than Sequence 9 would be able to avoid all the traps made by a Sequence 7 Hunter.

With the possibility that she was not alone, Adryan slowly walked away from his house until two houses away he hid behind a dumpster in an alleyway and began to pass spirituality towards a tattoo on his left arm.

This tattoo was in the shape of a small bird.

It only took a few seconds and the tattoo shimmered in golden dust until a small bird appeared on Adryan's arm and looked at him with its reddish-orange eyes.

"Fly and stand on top of my house I need to make sure some bitch is alone" Adryan whispered and the bird gave a military salute with its wing and flew away.

Adryan watched that with a small smile on his face.

That was actually pretty cute.

Shaking his head gently, the redhead closed his eyes and began to draw the sphere of light in his mind.

It only took a few moments and he was already in front of the City of Calamities, the yellowish smoke reached a little below his knees.

Adryan wasted no time looking at the magnificent city but instead sent spirituality into the golden dust that wrapped his left forearm.

In that the golden dust vibrated for a few seconds until it spread and formed a screen.

He could see the bird that was already on the roof of his house.

Knowing that his spirituality was important now, he used his right hand to make the image zoom out and he could now see his entire house which was as far as he could zoom out for now.

Using his hand he began to turn and zoom in on the 'camera' checking all the rooms he could.

Zooming in on the window of his study he saw that it was empty and there was nothing different from how he had left it.

He wasted no more time in this room but instead zoomed out and turned the 'camera' until he could see his bathroom window.

Zooming in again, he didn't find anything different, everything was the same, which made him frown.

Finally he went to the window of his room and zooming in he looked around it.

"There you are bitch" Adryan said victorious although he also frowned when he saw the state of his room.

His bed was turned over, his wardrobe was smashed, several of his clothes were scattered on the floor, and his mirror was smashed and several big and small fragments covered the floor.

Behind the door of his room hidden in the shadows preventing the moonlight from touching her was a young woman with malicious balck eyes and her black hair was tied in a high ponytail.

She was dressed in black pants and shirt, in her hands was a revolver that she was pointing at the door all the time without taking her eyes off it.

Adryan looked at this woman for a few seconds before looking around the room with the 'camera' and no matter how he looked and searched he couldn't find a trace of anyone else.

"Is she really alone?" the redhead murmured suspiciously as he looked at the woman.

Not underestimating the woman, Adryan used the tip of his index finger to touch his left palm twice quickly, his Spiritual Vision activated and he saw how the woman had a light blue aura that transmitted cold and desire.

Suddenly the red zone appeared, this time around the woman's knees causing Adryan to nod.

Looking around he couldn't find anything unusual which made him frown even more.

'Did the person who helped her get into my house just leave her alone when they couldn't find what they wanted and ordered her to kill me?' Adryan thought as he looked at the image.

Sensing his spirituality he could only cut the connection but before doing that he ordered the bird to return to him.

But he still did not leave the City of Calamities but instead used his index finger and quickly double tapped his left palm shutting off his Spiritual Vision.

Taking a hand to his chin, the redhead began to think about all the information he had obtained.

'She seems to be alone but I can't trust that I have to think that she has another helper hiding elsewhere waiting to surprise me from behind'

'I can just leave without attacking them and they'd look like idiots but that doesn't mean they'll stop, maybe they'll try to follow me'

'Now I have the first hand, they don't know that I know they're there so they don't expect them to be the ones ambushed so if I play my cards right I can get rid of them today'

"If anything goes wrong I have several escape routes ready..." muttered the redhead who with a plan already in mind left the City of Calamities.

Opening his eyes in the alley he looked down and saw his spy bird standing in front of him looking at him with its reddish orange eyes.

"Good job little one" Adryan whispered as he extended his hand towards the bird which made a military salute with its wing and turned into golden dust, this dust flew up to his left arm and the bird tattoo re-formed.

Getting up from where he was sitting, Adryan put the burned band on his left arm then began to climb the pipes in the wall until he reached the ceiling.

Once on the roof, he put his left hand into his jacket and took out a throwing knife and putting his free hand in another pocket, he grabbed Hangover Time.

Ready, he began to run along the roof with silent steps, his speed increased until he became almost a blur for a normal person, reaching the edge of the house, he took a great leap towards his bedroom window.

Flying through the air, his figure made a shadow thanks to the moonlight in his room and this caught the attention of the woman who looked at the shadow in astonishment.

Looking up she saw the redhead come through the window, she changed her target from the door to the redhead but before she could fire Adryan threw the knife into her hand sending the revolver flying.

Before she could react to losing the revolver, the redhead was already in front of her and he delivered a powerful kick to her stomach.

She flew to the door and due to the force of the kick she broke it and flew another 7 meters until she fell in the middle of the hall while throwing up her lunch and some blood.

Adryan would have continued with his attack but in one of the smaller fragments of the mirror on the floor the figure of a man appeared.

He wore a black tuxedo, a dark red cape, oiled hair, a pair of dark green eyes, and the pale face of a man in his forties.

Suddenly the figure of this man was reflected in the eyes of Adryan who wasn't able to react!!
