Axel smiled: "I've had to rely on my other senses to compensate." "My hearing and sense of touch have become much more acute, and I've learned to read my opponents' movements and energy more efficiently."
Gon and Killua were in awe of Axel's adaptability and dedication to his craft. They thanked him for sharing his story and bid him farewell, feeling inspired to continue pushing their own limits in their journey to become skilled fighters.
As Axel went on his way, Killua thought about something and started to talk.
"Hey, Gon, right now Zepile-San is selling the merchandise, and we have nothing to do. Why not try to stalk Axel? It would be a good practice for us, even if we are noticed." He would not be returned."
Gon thought for some time before nodding and accepting what Killua said.
Axel set out on a walk after having a conversation with Gon and Killua. As he strolled down the street, he couldn't help but think about the two kids. They seemed harmless, but there was something about them that made him uneasy. Axel was not a seasoned hunter. But this does not mean that he cannot understand the power and abilities of the people.
Because of the Void and his training, he has a good eye when it comes to understanding what kind of nen output one can generate.
"Compared to Phantom Troupe members, not only is their experience but also their volume of nen too lacking," he says, taking a deep breath and smiling.
"This is why they will be caught when the time comes that they are going to try to stalk Phantom Troupe members."
"They cannot fight against them; this means that having just one is not enough for one to protect itself."
As he continued to ponder, Axel's thoughts turned to his own abilities. He was confident that he had a good amount of nen and power, and he could sense that the boys were complete beginners from their aura. But there was something strange about the way they carried themselves—something that made him feel as though they were more than they appeared.
Axel shook his head, trying to clear his mind of these thoughts. He continued walking down the street, watching as people hurried by, going about their business. But his mind kept returning to the two boys he had just spoken with.
Suddenly, he saw them out of the corner of his eye, standing on the other side of the street. They seemed to be talking excitedly, their faces animated with emotion. Axel's heart skipped a beat as he realized that they had been following him all along.
He felt a surge of fear and anger, but as he looked at them more closely, he could see that they posed no threat to him. In fact, their energy was almost infectious, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for their passion and determination.
Axel smiled to himself, feeling slightly embarrassed by his earlier misgivings. He realized that sometimes the most dangerous opponents are the ones who seem the least threatening. And with that thought, he continued on his way, feeling more enlightened and self-aware than before.
