Unbeknownst to Daniel and Brooke, one nosy onlooker had taken out her phone to take a video of Daniel playing. When she later uploaded the video to her social media with the caption 'Prince of Basketball!!!', her post went viral because of Daniel's appearance and skill.

Seeing that they had gathered a small crowd, the two of them went to play other games.

Daniel didn't dominate every game naturally, he wasn't a god. He lost to Brooke in the racing game as well as the fighting games. She even had a few flawless victories against him where the health bar of her character wasn't touched.

But Brooke couldn't stand that Daniel had won against her in the rhythm game, which was the genre she had played the most. There was recent addition to the arcade rhythm game collection which was the VR Beat Sabre. Daniel now had the high score for it even though he only played it a few times.

He had also dominated the shooting game, 'Gun About', where players would shoot at virtual enemies on the screen using plastic controllers in the shape of guns. Again, his visual acuity and lightning fast reflexes made him incredible in the game.

Unknowingly, they had spent a few hours playing games at the arcade having fun with each other's company. Though they wanted to stay longer, they had to leave as they needed to catch the next showing of the movie.

As they were walking out of the arcade, Brooke's account now having thousands of tickets to exchange prizes for, she stopped Daniel to point at the stuffed animals in the claw machines.

"Oppa, look at that, aren't those cute?" She asked him.

"Which one?"

"Mm, I don't know, all of them I guess. I want one…" Brooke was trying to hint to Daniel to win a stuffed toy for her. She read online that it was one of the staples of a date, so she wanted to have that experience too.

Daniel was easing out of his social ineptitude, and after the day with Brooke, he was also starting to understand her better as well. So he understood what she was trying to get at.

"Alright, which stuff toy do you want? This oppa will win it for you!" Daniel was embarrassed calling himself oppa, but Brooke liked it as she blushed and swooned.

"Ah oppa you're so manly! Mm how about that one, it reminds me of you." She said while pointing at a plushy of a Pomeranian dog.

"Which part of it reminds me of you?" Daniel asked as he used Brooke's phone to pay to use the claw machine.

"The aegyo!" (Aegyo roughly means cute behaviour or like quality of cuteness)

"Woof woof."

"Cute!"

It was quite embarrassing because it took Daniel more than ten tries to get the plushy. It wasn't really because he was bad at it, but because these claw machines had a fixed chance of success from the get go in order to ensure it remain profitable.

After ten attempts, he wanted to give up because he felt like he was wasting Brooke's money on a stuffed toy that they could buy online for half the price.

But Brooke was adamant that she didn't care about the cost.

When he finally managed to pick up the plushy with the shitty claw, and then successfully drop it in the hole, the satisfaction felt earned like a victory through tough battle. Brooke was also absolutely ecstatic about the plushy.

"Uwah, amazing oppa! Thank you for the present!" She jumped and planted a kiss on his cheek before recoiling as she realised what she had just done impulsively.

Daniel had already done a lot more intimate things with a girl, so it surprised him that an innocent chaste kiss on his cheek could still make his heart beat fast. Receiving the kiss make him feel like it was worth failing more than times just to succeed once.

He was also aware that today was a very different date from the one he had with Sophie yesterday. Sophie had almost immediately jumped into doing pervy things with him the first chance they had. But he had a surprisingly genuine, wholesome and fun time with Brooke at the arcade.

'So not all dates needs to have pervy things done during them. They can be innocent fun like today too. Sophie said her friends would definitely try to have sex with me. Guess she was wrong.'

Unbeknownst to him, Brooke was looking at him with a heated gaze. The kiss on his cheek was already her holding back her desire with the strength of Hulk. In truth she had really wanted to steal his lips! But now she was regretting it because she thought that it was a perfect opportunity with the perfect atmosphere for them to have their first kiss.

Oh well, hopefully they could have another opportunity later at the movies. After all, many couples would kiss during a movie, right?
